TV Makers Can’t Stop Ripping Republicans
The world of television and how Hollywood delivers it keep changing. Streaming services like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon have become prestigious brands whose original programming draws a pile of Emmy nominations. In 2017, Netflix has received 91 Emmy nominations, second only to HBO’s 111. Hulu has 18 nominations, and Amazon has 16, just a few less than Fox’s 21.

James Damore, a Google employee with a Ph.D. from Harvard, penned a memo that cost him his job. Damore wrote that Google, in trying to advance diversity internally, needed to do it in different ways. One would never know that from the media’s coverage of his memo.

University Reverses Policy, Will Allow 9/11 Memorial on Lawn
Southern Methodist University’s recent decision to relocate a memorial of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks over concerns students might be “triggered” caused outrage across the fruited plain. But the university announced late Wednesday it is reversing that decision and will allow Young Americans For Freedom to post nearly 3,000 American flags on the Dallas Hall Lawn to honor those killed by the Muslim terrorists.

About That Vote
The 15-to-0 Security Council vote imposing the toughest sanctions ever on North Korea is still reverberating. UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, whom I admire, was asked Tuesday morning on Fox & Friends what turned the tide at the UN Security Council to get China and Russia on board. Haley answered, “It was really me saying, ‘How many more ICBM [intercontinental ballistic missile] tests do we need to have before we do something?’”
