Boy Scouts Told: Do Not Chant, ‘Build That Wall’
Tens of thousands of patriotic Boy Scouts gave President Trump a rousing welcome at the National Scout Jamboree in West Virginia on Monday. They shouted his name and chanted, “USA! USA!” But the president’s speech was widely criticized by the mainstream media and many liberals.

The Life of Charlie Gard: Whose Decision Is It Anyway?
It’s every parent’s nightmare. Your child is suffering and you are powerless to do anything about it. In most cases you would exhaust all treatment options, consult leading specialists, and even travel the globe to find a hospital for your child. Ultimately you, the parent, would make treatment decisions you believe are in the best interests of your child. That is unless you are Connie Yates and Chris Gard — parents of baby Charlie Gard.

Public Libraries Host Drag Queen Story Hour — for Kids!
Public libraries across the fruited plain are inviting drag queens to read story books to small children, leading some folks to wonder what in the name of Captain Kangaroo is going on.

The Science Deniers
Tragically, in an age where some people have foolishly “decided” that preborn babies aren’t really alive and/or aren’t really human, and therefore can be aborted, there are also some people who have foolishly “decided” that boys aren’t really boys, and girls aren’t really girls.

Randi Weingarten’s Smear
Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers, is paid not to tell the truth about school choice, and she deserves a raise. In a speech last week, she purported to uncover the racist roots of the school choice movement in “massive resistance” to school desegregation in the 1960s.

Focus on Fusion GPS
Donald Trump Jr., Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort are testifying this week to various congressional committees investigating allegations of Russian influence in last year’s presidential election. These are very high-risk, high-profile events in the Left’s efforts to nullify the election results.

Senate Rewrite for the Byrds
The Senate health care debate already had more plot twists than a Hollywood blockbuster. But on Friday, the real-life drama took another turn, sentencing Republicans to more late-night problem-solving.

My Response to Bret Stephens
Bret Stephens devoted his New York Times column last week to admonishing me for my tweet from two weeks ago and critiquing my follow-up column last week explaining the tweet.

How to Fix the GOP’s ObamaCare Fiasco
The GOP must change the narrative and focus on the three C’s of health care reform: choice, competition and cost reduction. Lowering premiums through choice and competition will make health insurance more affordable for tens of millions of Americans. Obamacare promised these things and delivered the opposite: less choice and much higher costs to families.

A Plan to Save Social Security
Financial Planner Ric Edelman has come up with an idea that is so simple and workable it could transform the aging program and make retirement more comfortable and secure for years to come.

Daily Beast Writer Calls Sarah Huckabee Sanders a ‘Butch Queen’
Even the “Mean Girls” weren’t this mean. Just moments after President Trump promoted Sarah Huckabee Sanders to the role of White House Press Secretary, she was attacked by a swarm of woman-hating liberals. First, the propagandists at The New York Times and MSNBC questioned Ms. Sanders’ character and called her a liar, but now journalists are attacking her physical appearance. Ira Madison III, of The Daily Beast, likened Ms. Sanders to a drag queen in a hateful Twitter post.

Nepotism: A Relative Crime
Hollywood did not invent nepotism, but it certainly turned it into a thriving business. It was prevalent because the studio bosses could always find an opening in the producer ranks for a close relative. Unlike writers, directors, composers and cinematographers, those guys didn’t have to possess any discernible talent. In fact, a popular gag line in the 30s and 40s parodied Hemingway’s book title: “The Son-in-Law Also Rises.”

‘Let ObamaCare Fail,’ Says Trump. It Already Has.
Republicans will pay a heavy price for breaking their promise to repeal the Affordable Care Act. For seven years, the GOP vowed to eliminate the unwise, unpopular law, and during Barack Obama’s years in the White House, Republican legislators voted for repeal dozens of times. But once there was a president prepared to sign repeal legislation, Republicans choked.

The Wild Blue Yonder Ain’t What It Used to Be
The aircraft arrayed around the spacious lawn of Maxwell Air Force Base, home of the Air University, mostly represent long-retired types. The largest, however, is a glistening B-52 bomber, which represents a still-employed component of the Air Force’s aging fleet: The (BEG ITAL)youngest B-52 entered service in 1962. Sons have flown the same plane their fathers and grandfathers flew.

NPR: Stop Making Babies and Driving Cars to Save the Planet

Focusing Outward: On Others and Opportunities
You don’t even have to look at a newspaper or turn on the TV to know that the day-in, day-out slog of politics involves a near-total squandering of opportunity.

GOP Holds Military’s Fleet to the Fire
If liberals thought the debate over military sex changes was over, they underestimated the American people!

Stop Blaming Israel
The State Department’s latest report on terrorism incredibly attempts to blame Israel for growing tensions while whitewashing the Palestinian Authority’s responsibility for violence.

Imagine Hillary in the White House
Whenever I look around at all the madness taking place, I take comfort from the fact that bad as things are, they could be ever so much worse. All it would have taken was for about 80,000 voters in the rustbelt states to have stayed home on Election Day or voted for Mrs. Clinton, and Donald Trump would be back in his tower overseeing his real estate empire and Mrs. Clinton would be extending the Obama nightmare into the foreseeable future.

Chick-fil-A Sends Special Care Package to Soldiers
Let’s just say the chicken tenders served at a military base in the Middle East are not exactly on par with the plump, juicy chicken they serve at Chick-fil-A. That was the culinary dilemma facing a group of Texas Army National Guard soldiers deployed to Iraq for the next seven months.
