Why This Judge’s Ruling Won’t Block Federal Action on Sanctuary Cities
Media sources are all breathlessly reporting that the Trump administration’s proposed termination of federal funding to sanctuary cities has been enjoined by a federal judge. But that is misleading, and the media is misinterpreting the injunction order in the same way the federal judge misinterpreted President Donald Trump’s executive order.

Base to Trump: Break a Reg!
Moving into the White House is the easy part. Moving out the old administration’s policies is something else altogether. President Trump is finding that out the hard way, as his team tackles mess after mess left behind by Barack Obama. With eight years to dig America into a social, economic, and military hole, climbing out of the pit takes time. With plenty of jobs still unfilled, the Trump administration has the unenviable job of combing through hundreds of thousands of pages of rules and policies to clean up and, in most cases, reverse the damage done by Obama’s team.

Robed Radicals
Here we go again. Another radical leftist masquerading as a judge handed down an utterly absurd ruling protecting sanctuary cities. Late Tuesday, U.S. District Judge William Orrick, III, based in San Francisco, blocked enforcement of President Donald Trump’s executive order banning federal funding to those jurisdictions that refuse to enforce federal law on immigration.

Hillary as Seen by Official Washington
We call it Kultursmog, “it” being that collection of attitudes, ideas, tastes and personages that are polluted by the politics of the left and predominate on both coasts. And who are we?

Talking Right
President Trump did something Monday I have long advocated. He met with a small group of conservative journalists, pundits and radio talk show hosts. I was among them.

Will France Elect a Gallic Barack Obama?
The French are too intellectually vain to borrow others’ political ideas, but too interested in style not to appreciate and appropriate that of others. So, on May 7 they might confer their presidency on a Gallic Barack Obama.

Trump’s First 100 Days: An Executive Success
Of course Donald Trump over-promised for his first 100 days. What presidential candidate hasn’t?

Trump’s Biggest Achievement in His First 100 Days? Stopping the Left
Measure Trump’s first 100 days not just by looking at what he has or has not accomplished. Look at what America would have experienced under the alternative: Hillary Clinton.

Will 2020 Be Another 1972 for Democrats?
Forty-nine years ago, Vice President Hubert Humphrey was the Democratic candidate for president.

Is It Time to Repeal FATCA?
I’ve previously argued that the Trump administration should stop funding the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development because of its advocacy of higher taxes and tax harmonization. At the time, I was told that my position could be perceived as hypocritical because our government is responsible for the adoption and enforcement of the hideous Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act. Let me address this omission.

No One Owns Science
Science joined the #resistance over the weekend, or so the organizers of the March for Science would have us believe. Thousands of demonstrators marched in Washington, DC, and in cities around the country under the banner of science and in the spirit of the Women’s March opposing President Donald Trump back in January.

Mello Dramatic at the DNC
Nebraska isn’t usually a pin on the map of political hotspots, but that all changed this week with Omaha’s candidates for mayor. Thanks to Heath Mello’s (D) pro-life views, a race that would have been a footnote in the national news has exploded into a front-page headline about the DNC’s hard ideological line on abortion.

Are We Really Living in Trump’s America?
For the past few months, whenever someone on the left says something particularly insane, conservatives immediately snark back, “This is why Trump won.” To a certain extent, they’re right: The palpable anger on the radicalized left that helped govern America into political polarization drove the Trump movement. Trump sits in the White House as a result.

Killing Black Babies
Minorities crammed into impoverished areas in inner cities should not be having so many babies. And, of course, these minorities (including most of America’s immigrants) are inferior in the human race; as are the physically and mentally handicapped.

Muddy Maxine Waters: What a Riot
Are you freaking kidding me? Thirteen-term Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Beltway barnacle permanently affixed to USS Government, is now the fresh-faced “rock star” of the Democratic Party.

Trump’s 100 Days of Media Hostility
The time has come for the media to pull out the artificial measuring stick of 100 days to evaluate President Trump. If they’re kind, he’ll get an I for “incomplete.” But it’s more likely they’ll use other I words like “inability,” “incompetence” or “incoherence.” Whatever they say, it won’t be kind.
