Exxon Mobil Fights the Abusive Behavior of Democrat AG’s Climate Inquisition
Exxon Mobil Corp. is fighting back against New York’s Democrat attorney general who is demanding decades’ worth of documents about the company’s position on global warming and climate change. On Oct. 17, Exxon asked a federal judge in Texas, Ed Kinkeade, to stop the abusive behavior of New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman by tossing out the subpoena that Schneiderman served on Exxon as part of a investigation of the company for supposedly lying to the public about catastrophic, man-induced climate change.
Wayne’s World: Dr. Grudem Urges Christians to Vote Issues
No one understands the internal struggle of Christians in this election better than theologian Dr. Wayne Grudem. Like many of us as evangelicals who have sought to integrate our faith with our public walk, he’s wrestled with the question about the difficulty of choosing between two morally undesirable candidates for president. In a string of published pieces, he’s expressed his frustrations at Donald Trump’s past behavior and addressed the concerns so many of us share about the lack of character on display in both campaigns.
Lying, Serial Lying and the 2016 Presidential Race
Article VI of the U.S. Constitution prohibits a religious test as a qualification for any public office in the United States. This was a topic of interest just before the presidential election in 2012. And why? Because Republican candidate Mitt Romney was an active leader in the Mormon Church, and to millions of conservative Christians, Mormonism was not part of the Evangelical movement in America. They applied their own informal religious test to Romney’s religion. It did not measure up. On election day, millions of them stayed home. Romney lost.
Final Debate: Not ‘Left or Right,’ but ‘Up or Down’
As decision 2016 draws to a close, we witnessed the final debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. This debate focused on some of the key issues facing Americans: the economy, gun rights, abortion, the Supreme Court and immigration. This article critiques Hillary’s plans and highlights her ideas to increase government control of the economy, her views on gun control, her overwhelming support of abortion and her plans for immigration. As a nation, we are at a crossroads: Do we choose her path of a government-controlled economy, reduced rights to protect ourselves with firearms, radical pro-abortion judges, and minimized security on our borders? Or do we choose another path?
Good News
The media are working overtime to demoralize conservatives and convince us all that Hillary has already won. DON’T BELIEVE IT! Not every poll is predicting a Clinton coronation. The Los Angeles Times daily tracking poll has Trump up 45% to 44%. Rasmussen has Trump up 43% to 41%. And the Investor’s Business Daily poll — the most accurate poll in the past three election cycles — has Trump leading 41% to 40%. My friends, we can win! More importantly, we MUST win.
Rats Abandoning the Ship
No matter how awful we all know Hillary Clinton is, and no matter how many more terrible things we’re finding out about her through the email dumps by Wikileaks, it doesn’t seem to faze some Republican politicians and pundits the least little bit. They are jumping ship without even waiting for the lifeboats to be lowered. I readily admit I don’t believe that Donald Trump has a very good chance of winning, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t disgust me to see the likes of Paul Ryan and Glenn Beck showing their true colors and abandoning the GOP nominee. It’s bad enough to hear Mr. Beck, who somewhere along the way presented himself with the deed to the moral high ground, pretending that Trump’s vulgar speech is worse than all the things that Mrs. Clinton has said and done over the past several decades, but where the heck does Rep. Ryan get off?

Trump Trumps Trump
Trump had his best debate in Nevada. Instead of 90 minutes of him denying his alleged minor sexual aggressions, some actual issues were discussed — the Supreme Court, the economy, trade, terrorism, immigration, guns and abortion. And before he jumped the tracks, Trump scored a few solid hits on the crookedness of the Clinton Foundation and Hillary’s serial lies to the FBI, Congress and the American people. Not that anyone in the liberal media really cared.
Don’t Blame Never Trump
No one can accuse Kellyanne Conway of complacency. She is already preparing for post-election recriminations. Donald Trump’s campaign manager has recently cited Hillary Clinton’s financial advantage, media bias and President Barack Obama’s popularity as reasons Trump should be losing to Clinton even more badly. She also floated the stabbed-in-the-back thesis: “We have the Never Trumpers,” she said in a MSNBC interview, “who are costing us 4 or 5 percent in places.”
Bans on Political Donations Help Reporters Hide Bias
“Let me say for the billionth time: Reporters don’t root for a side. Period.” This declarative tweet came from the Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza on Oct. 16. The next day, Cillizza posted on Twitter, “Well, this is super depressing. NO idea why any journalist would donate $ to politicians.” The “super depressing” story he was reacting to came from the Center for Public Integrity. According to its just-released study, more than 96 percent of donations from media figures to either of the two major-party presidential candidates went to Hillary Clinton.
The Inevitable Outcome of Rage
Five years ago, after buying our new home, my wife bought two tall chairs for our children to sit at our kitchen counter. The kids never pushed the chairs under the counter. They were always across the room where, inevitably, the youngest would crawl up into the cabinets to sneak treats. On one particular day I came in through the garage carrying a heavy load, the chairs were again where they were not supposed to be, and I tripped and fell. I dropped everything I was carrying, had a scrape on my leg, and immediately lost my temper.
Undermining Our System
Because of what came later — Donald Trump’s refusal to say whether he’d accept the results of the election — Hillary Clinton’s similar, if somewhat less incendiary, remark about our system’s legitimacy went nearly unnoticed. Right out of the box, responding to a query from Chris Wallace about the Supreme Court (and let me add my voice to the general hosannas for his mature and professional conduct), Clinton implied that a Supreme Court decision she disliked, Citizens United v. FEC, “undermined the election system in our country because of the way it permits dark, unaccountable money to come into our electoral system.”
Hillary Clinton’s Dishonesty Was on Display in Final Debate
The third and mercifully final presidential debate also turned out to be the most conventional. Fox News’ Chris Wallace did a solid job pressing the candidates on issues in Las Vegas, giving them space to spar but not enough space to get out of control. Of course, not even a strong moderator will deter candidates from misleading, lying and prevaricating all night. And since we know Trump’s performance will be comprehensively fact-checked by the entire media, let’s talk about three of Clinton’s biggest whoppers.
Bench Marked by Two Different Views
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump shared a stage [Wednesday] night — but little else. From the first question until their closing remarks, the contrast on policies and priorities between the nominees could not be more clear. At the third and final debate, the two sides kicked the event off by wrangling over one of the biggest concerns for social conservatives: the Supreme Court. Moderator Chris Wallace, who easily outperformed his competition in the job, obviously understands what many Americans do not — which is that no one, including the next president, will have a bigger impact on the future of this country than the justices they pick for the high court. As important as the candidates’ positions are, the final say on most matters will come down to the bench’s nine unelected men and women. So naturally, the question on most people’s minds is: who would either of these candidates entrust to make those decisions?
Strong Stand for Life
[Wednesday] night’s third and final presidential debate began with questions about the Supreme Court and the kind of justices the candidates would appoint. In his own way, Trump delivered a strong defense of the sanctity of life. He reiterated his pledge to appoint pro-life justices (there was no mealy-mouthed nonsense about not having litmus tests) and he hammered Hillary Clinton for her pro-abortion extremism.
Hollywood’s Debate Rage Against Trump
In the aftermath of the final presidential debate, some pundits were struck dead that Donald Trump would be so rude as to describe Hillary Clinton as a “nasty woman.” Would you like a lesson in the meaning of hypocrisy? Let’s see what their colleagues said about Trump after the debate. On Comedy Central, “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah described Trump as a “giant novelty dildo ... on stage behind the podium.” On CBS, “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert mocked Trump’s rear end, saying, “I guess we’re all going to have to wait until Nov. 9 to find out if we still have a country — if Donald Trump is the mood for a peaceful transfer of power, or if he’s just gonna wipe his fat ass with the Constitution.”
America’s Decadent Leadership Class
It is quite dreadful and a showing of the gravest disrespect that, if U.S. intelligence agencies are correct, Russia’s Vladimir Putin has inserted himself into America’s presidential election. And it could not have deeper implications. If Russia is indeed behind the leaks of the emails of Democratic Party operatives Mr. Putin may have many reasons, as he often does, but the most frightening would be that he views the current American political leadership class as utterly decadent and unworthy of traditional diplomatic norms and boundaries. And, thinks, therefore, it deserves what it gets.
Despite Trump, Demotic Protest Politics Doesn’t Always Fail
2016 has been a big year for protest politics — not just in the United States, what with Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump getting over 40 percent of primary votes, but also all over Europe and Latin America, where voters have been rejecting the advice of their nations’ political, financial and media establishments. Two prime examples were in referendums. On June 23, 52 percent of British voters rejected the advice of Prime Minister David Cameron and other parties’ leaders and chose to leave rather than remain in the European Union. On Oct. 2, 50.2 percent of voters in Colombia voted to reject President Juan Manuel Santos’ peace agreement with the FARC guerrillas.
My Vote, Explained
The case against Hillary Clinton could have been written before the recent WikiLeaks and FBI disclosures. But these documents do provide hard textual backup. The most sensational disclosure was the proposed deal between the State Department and the FBI in which the FBI would declassify a Hillary Clinton email and State would give the FBI more slots in overseas stations. What made it sensational was the rare appearance in an official account of the phrase “quid pro quo,” which is the currently agreed-upon dividing line between acceptable and unacceptable corruption.
Dangerous Collusion
I’ve never been much of a conspiracy theorist, but I don’t know how reasonable people can fail to recognize the overt collusion of the Obama administration, the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Party and the liberal media to shield Hillary Clinton from accountability for her many misdeeds and abundant corruption. Perhaps I can be considered a bit of an alarmist, but if I am, so are millions of others when it comes to the dire state of this nation on a number of fronts. We have a staggering national debt, a dangerously declining military and a runaway regulatory state that is suppressing our liberties, insulating government from accountability and helping to smother economic growth.

Hillary Will Do to America What That DNC Bus Did on the Streets in Georgia
If you believe the television pundits, Donald Trump is going to wage a one-man revolution if he loses the 2016 presidential election. That was the media’s big takeaway from the third and final presidential debate in Las Vegas between Trump and Hillary Clinton. At issue was a question posed by moderator Chris Wallace regarding whether Trump would accept the election results. “I will tell you at the time,” Trump replied. “I’ll keep you in suspense. OK?” The mainstream media went apoplectic. They want you to believe that Trump is going to gallop down 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue on a white stallion leading a battalion of Minute Men armed with muskets and waving the Gadsden Flag.
