A Post-Mortem of ObamaCare
I know that for some people, March 21, 2010, will take its rightful place alongside such infamous days as December 7, 1941, and September 11, 2001. But at least on those earlier occasions, America was attacked by outsiders. This time around, those out to destroy our republic were Fifth Columnists named Pelosi, Stupak, Slaughter, Waxman, and 216 of their fellow termites.

When It Comes to Earmarks in DC, It's 'E Pluribus Oink'
When he ran for president, then-Sen. Barack Obama argued that earmarks account for a mere "0.5 percent of the total federal budget," so eliminating earmarks would not solve the problem. With that attitude, they ought to put up a new Welcome to Washington sign that reads: Prodigo ergo prodigo. I spend, therefore I keep spending.

A Pathetic Response to an 'Unprecedented Threat'
Welcoming the leaders of 47 nations to Washington to discuss what he called "an unprecedented threat," President Obama described in ominous terms the potential for nuclear terrorism. "Just the smallest amount of plutonium -- about the size of an apple -- could kill and injure hundreds of thousands of innocent people." The possibility that a terrorist group could get its hands on a nuclear weapon is, the president added, "the single biggest threat to U.S. security, both short term, medium term and long term."
