A Job Opening for Jussie Smollett
I have been assiduously studying the case of Jussie Smollett, the chap who claims that two pro-Trump ruffians wearing MAGA hats accosted him on a Chicago street at 2:00 a.m. on one the coldest nights of the year, shouting anti-gay (Smollett is openly gay) and anti-black (Smollett is openly black) slurs at him while beating him and placing a noose around his neck.

The Grave Consequences of Infanticide
We all saw it coming. But expecting Monday’s vote didn’t make watching it any less horrifying. If we’re being honest, most of us still held out hope that we lived in a country where some truths were non-negotiable.

How Is Abortion After Birth Not News?
In the wake of Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s radio interview where he made bizarre remarks about extending the “right to choose” to after-birth abortion (or medical neglect), Sen. Ben Sasse authored the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

When I hear “welfare payments,” I think “poor people.” But America’s biggest welfare recipients are often politically connected corporations — like America’s sugar producers.

Venezuela and the Myth of Kinder, Gentler Socialism
Socialism drives economies into the ground in exact proportion to its prominence in the economy.

I’ve Been Silicon Valley Sharia’d
Last week, the little birdies in Twitter’s legal department notified me that one of my tweets from 2015 is “in violation of Pakistan law.” It seems like ancient history, but Islamic supremacists never forget — or forgive.

Jussie Smollett, “Empire” actor, claimed that on Jan. 29, two masked men identifying themselves as Donald Trump supporters and using racial and homophobic insults attacked him.

Audience Has Already Made Up Its Mind About ‘Waiting for Mueller’
Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot,” a play in which two men sit around and wait for someone who never shows up, has been claimed by just about everyone: Freudians, Christians, existentialists.

Pope Francis’s Sex Abuse Speech Was a Disgraceful Display of Excuses
Pope Francis’s closing address to the Vatican Summit on Child Protection was a disgraceful display of excuses and evasions.

Warrencare: A Brainwashing Babysitter
Were the United States of America transformed to conform to the vision that Sen. Elizabeth Warren embraces, many government agencies — such as those charged with enforcing the Green New Deal she co-sponsors — might resemble Big Brother.

Is Trump Especially Vulnerable to Primary Challenge?
It has become a common talking point for NeverTrump Republicans seeking to defeat President Trump in the 2020 GOP primaries: Polls have found that a substantial number — maybe 40 percent — of Republican voters say they would be open to a primary challenge to the president.

Democrats Promised to Listen to Immigration Experts — They Lied
Last month, the Democrats promised to listen to the experts on immigration policy. They’ve already broken that pledge.

Trump Kim II
President Trump is on his way to Vietnam for a second summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. As Trump was preparing to leave Washington, Chuck Schumer and a handful of Senate Democrats sent the president a going away present — a letter making all kinds of demands about what they say must be included in any agreement with North Korea.

Leftists Say Judge Is Unfit to Serve Because of His Christian Beliefs
A Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate is facing an onslaught of attacks from radical leftist groups that contend his religious beliefs should disqualify him from serving as a judge.

Smollett Fiasco Reveals Much About Leftists and the News Media
As President Donald Trump is inclined to do, he frequently comments and tweets about “fake news.” This most often upsets the news media, which maintains they do not indulge in fake news.

Democrats’ Scorched Birth Campaign
It was four days before a vote that will be talked about for years. Of course, that irony was probably lost on Senator Patty Murray (D-Wash.) — but it wasn’t lost on us. The same woman leading the fight for legal infanticide chose last Thursday to tour Seattle Children’s Hospital, walking the long hallways where she would argue only wanted kids deserve care.
