Catching Up
Now that the Tour de France is over, it’s time to get back to the serious business of pontificating. The news media is reporting that an internal email at the Justice Department has reminded its lawyers that the legally correct term they should be using in their briefs is “illegal alien,” not the euphemism “undocumented immigrant.”

Ginsburg’s Five-Year Plan
During an interview Sunday, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg announced her five-year plan. Asked how much longer she planned to stay on the Supreme Court, Ginsburg replied that Justice John Paul Stevens stepped down when he was 90. And since she is 85, Ginsburg said, “I have at least five more years.” Liberals are applauding.
