I am frustrated by many things, but intellectual inconsistency is near the top of the list. Unfortunately, many Americans, perhaps even an electoral majority, embrace it. Let's begin with Hillary Clinton. An inadvertently laugh-out-loud headline accompanies the latest effort by Politico writer Steven Shepard to maintain that website's grim determination to promote Democrat Party talking points even as it feigns objectivity. "Can Hillary overcome the 'liar' factor?" the title of the piece asks. Liar "factor?" Anyone else think Hillary Clinton's repeated, documented, shameless, reflexive lying about virtually everything is something a tad more problematic than a factor?
Call Me 'Ze,' Not 'He': University Wants Everyone to Use 'Gender Inclusive' Pronouns
Educators in the Volunteer State are very concerned that students might be offended by the usage of traditional pronouns like she, he, him and hers, according to a document from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville's Office of Diversity and Inclusion. "With the new semester beginning and an influx of new students on campus, it is important to participate in making our campus welcoming and inclusive for all," wrote Donna Braquet in a posting on the university's website. "One way to do that is to use a student's chosen name and their correct pronouns." Braquet, who is director of the university's Pride Center, suggested using a variety of gender neutral pronouns instead of traditional pronouns.

In the present postmodern world, we are told that there is no such thing as a biologically distinct gender. Instead, gender is now socially constructed. It can be defined by the individual in almost any way he or she sees fit. In the old days, many clinical psychologists would have believed that Caitlyn Jenner — who first came to fame as Olympian Bruce Jenner — is experiencing a well-chronicled psychological state known as transvestism, or the innate pleasure in wearing the clothes and assuming the manners and appearance of the opposite sex.
Tennessee Courts Reverse Ban on 'Mother' and 'Father'
The Tennessee Administrative Office of the Courts reversed a controversial decision to replace the terms "mother" and "father" with "parent 1" and "parent 2." "After receiving feedback regarding a recent change made to the permanent parenting plan form, the AOC has reviewed the procedures and determined that, before making any changes to the form, the AOC should consult with the Domestic Relations Committee of the Tennessee Judicial Conference," the office said in a statement. " We have reverted to the previous form and the Committee has been notified."

President Obama's sentimental journey to East Africa should have been a harmonious one. He used the occasion of a toast to Kenya's President Uhuru Kenyatta to joke about his own search for his birth certificate. The usual round of VIP visits and dinners were marred, however, by this president's insistence on pushing his radical social agenda on Africans. He lectured the leaders of Kenya about election violence. Meanwhile, Mr. Obama ignored the burgeoning Planned Parenthood scandal back home in the U.S.A. While deploring violence in Kenya's elections that took 1,000 lives in 2007, the President has no remedy for the violence of Planned Parenthood — those traffickers in human flesh. Each day in America, this outfit kills 800 unborn children. And now we know they market their hearts, lungs and livers.
