“My dad passed away almost two years ago at the age of 92. Before he had a fall that broke his hip about 18 months before he passed, he had been mentally sharp and still played golf multiple times a week. But after the surgery to repair the hip, his mental acuity wasn’t the same, and a later fall that broke his arm seemed to spell the end. But when he was 81, he certainly was in much better condition than Biden is today. I turned 70 last month and still stay active riding my bike almost daily. I’ve ridden over 3,800 miles in the last 12 months. I also manage the website for my wife’s and her partner’s yarn shop. “No one mentions those parents, like myself, who took out Parental Plus loans in order to send their kids to college. I am still paying them off each month even though I’m retired. Of course, that is my fault. Going through Chapter 7 bankruptcy absolved all my debts, EXCEPT my unpaid federal taxes and my Parental Plus loans. I am not asking for, nor expecting, any forgiveness, but now I must also pay for the college educations for children who do not belong to me. I had no say in where they chose to go to school, what their major would be, or how much they borrowed. I at least had those choices with my own children.” —Ohio

“How can nobody have standing to sue to enjoin this embezzlement/vote-buying scam? Generations of taxpayers are on the hook for the national debt; this scheme, without appropriation or authorization from Congress, puts off the day of freedom from the national debt still further. It’s arguably contempt of court; simply shuffling words around and reducing the amounts or ‘qualifications’ are merely attempts to evade the clear ruling that the president has zero authority to retroactively change loan terms and fob the amount due onto somebody else. “What I find so interesting is that a lot of religious but non-Christian people have moral values that differ from the Left’s beliefs. When will the Left begin attacking them? The Muslims do not believe in gender fluidity; when will they be attacked? I have not met many Muslims who were not pretty conservative in their belief systems. Perhaps the least-understood comment from the Left is the belief that the rest of the world sees America as a non-Christian nation. Most on the Left have no idea how the world sees them.
