Another CCP Biolab in America
Las Vegas authorities uncover an illegal biolab operating in the city that appears to be directly tied to a Chinese national who operated another illegal lab in California.
A house in Las Vegas was raided by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department recently, following reports that a suspected biolab was operating in the home. The LVMPD discovered more than 1,000 items containing “potential biological and hazardous materials.”
The LVMPD also arrested 55-year-old Ori Solomon, who managed the property, charging him with disposing of and discharging hazardous waste. The apparent illegal biolab was uncovered after two individuals entered the garage of the house where the apparent biolab had been set up and became severely sickened.
The LVMPD noted, “Some of that evidence included biological material and liquids that were meticulously collected and sent to FBI labs for testing.”
Solomon is a foreign national holding passports from France and Israel. He also had in his possession four handguns and two rifles, which are illegal for him as he was in the country on a work visa and is not permitted to possess firearms. He is also facing firearms charges.
What makes this case much more concerning is the fact that this house is owned by one Jia Bei Zhu, a Chinese national who is currently in U.S. custody awaiting trial on charges connected to his operation of an illegal biolab that was discovered in Reedley, California, in 2022.
The biolab in Reedley, which was found in a warehouse, contained numerous vials inside a number of refrigerators that contained “at least 20 potentially infectious agents, including HIV, tuberculosis, and the deadliest known form of malaria,” according to federal investigators.
The illegal biolab also contained a refrigerator that was labeled “Ebola.” That is a highly contagious and deadly virus with a mortality rate that ranges from 25% to 90% in past outbreaks. Indeed, only BSL-4 labs, the highest level of biological safety, are equipped to safely handle such a contagion.
The trouble is, it is unclear which potential contaminants the Reedley lab actually contained because the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention never tested the materials found there. The CDC accepted the substance in the vials as labeled. The CDC’s excuse at the time for not testing the substances found was that it lacked the authority to conduct such tests. However, that is not true; the CDC does, in fact, have the authority to conduct the tests. As a result, it is unknown just how dangerous Zhu’s illegal biolab was.
So, who is Zhu? According to a House Select Committee report, Zhu is 62-year-old a Chinese national who fled Canada. He apparently has close ties to the Chinese government and was involved in a criminal enterprise that stole millions in intellectual property from American companies. It appears that Zhu is effectively an operative for Beijing, working through multiple layers of cutouts that distance him from direct connection to the communist government.
What is concerning about all of this is that it appears to be more evidence exposing the degree of China’s malevolent infiltration of the U.S. Combine this with China’s known efforts to import fentanyl into the country, set up a number of clandestine “police stations” within a number of U.S. cities, and purchase land near U.S. military bases, just to name a few.
Beijing appears to be waging a clandestine war against the U.S., seeking to weaken and damage the nation.
