“My husband and I roll our eyes whenever Trump gives a speech or is interviewed by Fox News personnel. Almost every single time he speaks, he regurgitates his many past achievements or the stumbling blocks introduced by Democrats into his presidential agenda. Unless our president starts to focus on the here and now, America will be in really serious trouble because I doubt the SAVE Act will be passed. Speaker Mike Johnson must intervene if he can and force the issue immediately, or else our election process is lost forever!” —Florida

"Several years ago, I contacted my then-Senator Richard Shelby’s office about repealing the 17th Amendment, and they actually laughed at me. I believe the only way this has a chance of happening is through a constitutional convention. Given the current political climate, getting 34 states to call one, much less the 38 needed for ratification, is very unlikely, as Republicans currently control 28 state legislatures.
