On Tuesday, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence released its fifth and final volume on its investigation into Russia’s 2016 election interference. The nearly 1,000-page report boils down to one main point: The committee found no evidence to support the Democrats’ loudly asserted claim that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians during his presidential campaign. The bipartisan investigation came to the same conclusion as that of Robert Mueller’s special counsel — the evidence for collusion is simply not there.

While finding no evidence of collusion, the committee did find evidence of Russian meddling. But even more disturbing, as committee member Marco Rubio (R-FL) noted, were the “actions taken by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, particularly their acceptance and willingness to rely on the ‘Steele Dossier’ without verifying its methodology or sourcing.”

So, after three and a half years in a highly politicized environment, every investigation into the charge that Trump colluded with the Kremlin has failed to prove the charge. Of course, these findings won’t stop the Democrats and their Leftmedia cohorts from continuing to promulgate the fallacious narrative. But we do note at the same time their refusal to investigate Joe Biden’s shady behavior with Ukraine.

As we have repeatedly observed, there’s a lot of apparent smoke surrounding Biden’s Ukraine dealings. Primarily, that’s due to his quid pro quo demand that preceded the firing of Ukraine’s chief prosecutor over his investigation into the energy company Burisma, of which Hunter Biden just happened to be a well-paid if woefully unqualified board member. Beyond the clear nepotism is the question of Biden abusing his power as vice president to serve his own interests — to protect his son from getting caught up in a corruption investigation. This needs to be probed with much more vigor, and Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, is attempting to do just that. Johnson seeks to force the Bidens to answer questions regarding their involvement with Ukraine and Burisma.

Democrats impeached Trump for what Biden apparently did. All Trump did was seek answers to these legitimate questions, though Democrats dubiously claim he was doing it solely for political purposes. Yet they look the other way as Hillary Clinton’s campaign paid for foreign agents to fabricate dirt on Trump. Their hypocrisy is overwhelming.
