Wednesday Executive Summary

GOP relentlessly confirming judges, Trump plans to pardon Flynn, Biden’s amnesty, and more.

Top of the Fold

  • “We’re going to run through the tape”: Senate GOP is relentlessly confirming judges (Daily Wire)

In summary: “Since the November 3 election, the Senate has confirmed six district court nominees, and [Senate Majority Leader Mitch] McConnell wants to confirm judges who will take the positions vacated by the ascension of Justice Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit as well as the position vacated by the death of Judge Juan R. Torruella, who served on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, was appointed by President Ronald Reagan and was that court’s first Hispanic member.”

  • Trump tells confidants he plans to pardon Michael Flynn (Axios)

Flynn deserves it. As we wrote back in July: “The FBI determined Flynn was not a Russian agent, that his allegedly misleading responses were not borne from any criminal intent, and that the agents themselves believed he was being truthful. In short, a rogue operation framed an innocent man.”

  • A record 762,000 absentee ballots have been requested in Georgia runoff elections (The Hill)

  • Double standards: White House correspondent caught on camera removing mask in public (Post Millennial)

  • YouTube suspends and demonetizes One America News Network (Axios)

  • A wave of “anti-racist” teaching sweeps K-12 schools targeting “whiteness” (RealClearInvestigations)

  • Illinois proposal would require teachers to be activists if they want to keep their licenses (Not the Bee)
