This Just In: John Kerry’s a Hypocrite
The “climate czar” was caught on a plane without a mask. At least it was a commercial flight.
When we last heard from the most haughty of elite hypocrites, Climate Czar John F. Kerry, he was declaring that all those people being thrown off their Keystone Pipeline jobs by an obtuse Joe Biden executive order could just “make the solar panels.” Now, the frequent flyer on private jets is in the news for actually flying commercial … without a mask. The CDC calls for mask-wearing while on flights.
Technically Kerry’s still wearing the mask in the viral photo — it’s just dangling from one ear. And technically he only had it off for about five minutes.
An anonymous passenger snapped the pic, and put it quite well himself: “I salute our Very Special Presidential Envoy for Climate for not flying private, but instead flying first class commercial with the rest of us common folk. And while he can’t bring himself to follow his own party’s mask restrictions, we should cut him some slack. Being an elite hypocrite is hard work!”
Of jet-setting on private planes, Kerry previously said, “If you offset your carbon — it’s the only choice for somebody like me who is traveling the world to win this battle.” Translation: Somebody like me = elite hypocrite.
As for the mask flap, Kerry wrote in response, “Feels like there’s some St. Patrick’s day ‘malarkey’ afoot on Twitter. Let’s be clear: If I dropped my mask to one ear on a flight, it was momentary. I wear my mask because it saves lives and stops the spread. It’s what the science tells us to do.”
And if anyone follows the science, it’s the party of aborting a beating heart, endorsing “transgender” identity, and using the coronavirus and climate change as an excuse for massive government power grabs. This isn’t an important story by any stretch, but Kerry’s long history of rule-flouting hypocrisy is so legendary we couldn’t help but be amused.
