Re: “Biden Wasted the Blood of American Patriots in AFG”
“Joe Biden’s disregard of his military advisers in favor of an impetuous, politically motivated withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan is an egregious leadership failure resulting in the loss of 13 U.S. service members and countless Afghanis. Additionally, the abandonment of allied installations and billions of dollars of military equipment, much of which was sensitive and classified, has significantly compromised overall U.S. security. The drone strike distraction attempting to make him look presidential can only be described as unconscionable. It is time for all members of Congress to acknowledge the president’s unfitness and impartially act to remove him from office to prevent further harm to our nation.” —Florida
Re: “Don’t Forget the Vietnam War”
“You are absolutely correct. I served several tours in Vietnam and was medically discharged after my third Purple Heart. I have made multiple trips (19) back to Vietnam since 1989 and have sat across the table from men we once fought against. Even high-ranking former NVA officers admitted they could not win on the battlefield, but they could win in the court of public opinion. The war protestors here were simply ‘useful idiots’ to the communists to help undermine the support. In my personal opinion, it seems the warriors win the battles and the politicians lose the wars!” —Tennessee
Re: “Inflation Is a Biden-Caused Disaster”
“Mr. Biden isn’t the only one in denial about the effects of inflation. The IRS ‘indexed for inflation’ standard deduction for 2021 is a mere 1.2% above the number used in 2020, despite the official CPI being up more than 7%. In other words, the IRS is cheating on our taxes.” —Minnesota
Re: “The Olympics Are Flopping, and That’s a Good Thing”
“I have loved watching the Olympics since I was little, and it is aggravating to be subjected to the commercials when I can’t — won’t — watch even one minute. But China is abhorrent and should not get to spread its propaganda. (Have you noticed that athletes of other countries conveniently test positive for COVID and are unable to compete to their best abilities?) I also refuse to watch the Olympics when cheating by some athletes is actively permitted.” —Delaware
Re: “Complexity of Climate Continues to Confound Modeling”
“The inconsistency of the planet itself is also not accounted for in these models. How can the models account for the random volcano that starts to spew ash clouds into the stratosphere? Volcanoes have impacted our history more than scientists discuss; they have plunged us into ice ages both small and large and destroyed civilizations. The earth is dynamic and not dependent on us to direct its course.” —California
“Only the heathen must worry about the climate. Only the believers, those who acknowledge God our Creator, know that He will protect us through thick and thin. In Genesis Chapter 8, God tells us that He will never destroy the earth again. He also tells us, ‘As long as the earth stands, sowing and harvesting, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will not stop.’ Either the heathen does not wish to believe God’s Word, or the odor of easy money is too much for them to resist.” —Illinois
Re: “Personal Foul: Injecting Racism Into the Super Bowl”
“According to Sleepy Joe, we need to go back to counting skin colors for the purposes of hiring of professional sports managers. If that is so, should it be extended to players? The count of black players in the NFL is reported to be 70%. Only a guess, but in the NBA and WNBA it’s probably 80-85%. Should both entities hire based on skin color to represent the proportion of color in the U.S. population? This stupid game of division can go on and on, or it can just stop. This is 2022, not 1970, so I would say stop. Sleepy Joe promised that he would stop division amongst his other lies as a candidate. How many of the promises he made during the campaign (if you can call it that) were true? It sure wasn’t about being a moderate.” —Arizona
Re: “Art Institute of Chicago Redefines Its Purpose as Antiracist”
“The idiots who are implementing this change are too ideologically blinded to see that it betrays a hideous racism. The ‘white is evil’ concept implies that what is non-white cannot be evil or be criticized. So, if non-white people are addicted to crack, it’s some kind of aggression (macro or micro) to try to get them off crack. Instead, drop any white privilege standards, embrace their addiction, and give them free crack pipes. After all, they’re children and don’t know any better. Moreover, it’s so culturally arrogant to expect these savages to get anything out of Toulouse-Lautrec. Only a white supremacist could expect anything different. The Art Institute is contributing to the downfall of Western Civilization.” —Illinois
Re: “Percentage of Women in the Workforce Plummets”
“Three things: 1) Moms staying home are fulfilling a duty. It is not a ‘luxury’ no matter how you look at it. 2) Feminism has done enormous harm to women, to girls, to the unborn, to children, to husbands, to men, to the family, and to society. I pray that women wise up and return to what is splendidly and transcendently natural. 3) I hope and pray that men fulfill their duty as husband and provider and that women’s participation in the workforce drops below 25%. What a wonderful world it would be!” —Ohio
Re: “Friday Short Cuts”
“There’s an active and ongoing work plan to develop a path forward. And … there’s constant discussion about that.” —White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki
“Thank you, Ms. Psaki, for speaking more gobbledygook to further obscure government operation. Is it not ironic that Biden has a work plan and discussion for every disaster he has created, but never a solution unless it involves more taxpayer and borrowed money? So far, Biden’s work plans and discussions are dead in the water.” —North Carolina
Re: “My Captain”
“Ron, I so appreciate your stand for Christ. I was saved as a child but have not always lived for Him during my career in the Army. After retiring in 2015, I renewed my dedication to God. I attend a fundamental, independent, Bible-preaching church. Our sole mission is to reach the world with the Gospel, which is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son. Be strong and courageous in the Lord. He is still in control.” —Tennessee
