Re: “Baring Biden’s Big ‘Gun Violence’ Lie

“My brother was a Chicago police officer for about five years. During that time, he was at a scene in a black neighborhood and was asked by a black man, ‘Why does this happen in our neighborhoods, but in the white neighborhoods it rarely happens?’ My brother explained to him, and the man agreed, that in white neighborhoods, children have two parents who discipline their children, know what the kids are doing, and know where and with whom their kids are playing. The key is really two parents in control of their kids and being responsible.” —Illinois

“Trying to point out the true cause of gun-related crime is a lost cause. Anti-gunners don’t want to eliminate that violence; it’s obvious from their actions. They want to use it as a reason to disarm everyone, except the people who protect them from violence. Disarming the public is necessary to further socialism and the expansion of the New World Order. If you look at what is happening through that perspective, things will make much more sense.” —South Carolina

Re: “Biden’s Plan to Wreck Women’s Sports and More

“I wonder how these rule changes on Title IX will affect the likes of Megan Rapinoe and her feminist cohorts in the ranks of professional women’s sports. They’ve been quite vocal on the disparity in pay between male and female professional soccer players. What will they say when biological males, claiming to be women, start dominating on their pitch and claiming the higher pay they fought for? Seems that progressive thought has its conundrums, eh?” —Maryland

“James Madison has a simple answer to the Title IX problem: Federal funding of education other than military training is NOT authorized under the Constitution. There is no honest construction of the text that permits it, nor is there any permission for Congress to bribe, coerce, or extort sports rules or ‘gender access’ policies. It is obvious that the original intent of ‘equal justice under the law’ in the 14th Amendment was not to erase practical distinctions between male and female; indeed, the necessity of the 19th Amendment to permit women to vote is evidence of that. In other words, states should tell Mr. Biden to pound sand and skip the federal funny money.” —Minnesota

Re: “What About Ditching College?

“If colleges would adopt the trade school model and just require those classes relevant to a degree, more students could afford it and more would be willing to make the investment. Also, if the federal government stopped unconstitutionally guaranteeing, with taxpayer dollars, student loans, costs would come down quickly.” —Michigan

Re: “Disney’s ‘Follow Your Heart’ Problem

“Really appreciated the way this article started out talking about the deception that often takes root in us from hearing the ‘follow your heart’ mantra for years and decades. The same goes for ‘let your conscience be your guide,’ because unless it is rightly formed and turned towards our Lord (Jesus), then our conscience is not a benefit to us or anyone. I’m sure that the devil and those who have turned away from God have their consciences tell them quite often that they are doing the right things and are good people! What God thinks is all that matters!” —Vermont

Re: “Climate Change Hysteria: The UN Who Cried Wolf

“Sure, we should seek cleaner forms of energy. But fossil fuel use is far, far cleaner today than it was 50 years ago. And alternative energy is far, far costlier. Our climate is warming. The effects of CO2 may contribute. But the warming is not unprecedented. Furthermore, vegetation (food) is increasing, and weather-related lives lost are decreasing. Explore alternatives. When cheaper, use alternatives. Until then, let free market forces rule.” —Missouri

Re: “The Biden Family’s Mysterious Millions

“The Bidens are the tip of the iceberg. Politicians of modest means arrive in Washington every election cycle and, when they finally leave, most of them have oodles of money. All of them on salaries that, although generous in comparison with the rest of the country, are not conducive to packing away millions of dollars. Just look at some conspicuous examples: Bernie Sanders, Harry Reid, etc. We need to enact severe term limits on Congress, and the IRS must be forced to conduct audits on all high-level congressional and executive employees.” —Florida

Re: “Thursday Short Cuts

“MSNBC’s Joy Reid calling Republican senators Dixiecrats is a gas. In her eyes, she does not see the humor that the Dixiecrats were Democrats. I wonder if any of these idiots who have a platform have ever looked at the history of ‘race in America’ and discovered that the Republican Party has always supported the black cause and the Democrat Party has always done the most damage. Race baiters are in it for themselves, because if they didn’t say something controversial, they would not have jobs.” —Nevada

Re: “In Brief: Remote Work Is Changing Political Demographics

“Not only are people moving from urban locations to rural, many are going ‘offshore.’ Although I am writing from Utah, I could really be anywhere on the planet. Is there anyone out there who wouldn’t rather work in the Bahamas than Boston? Although retired, I would like to have had those options in my career. Many of the decisions also come down to income tax rates.” —Utah
