Hunter, Blinken, and a Rigged Election
The more we learn about the Biden campaign’s corrupt activities in the crucial days prior to the 2020 election, the more confident we are in calling it rigged.
It’s been a rough week for Secretary of State Antony Blinken — and we don’t mean geopolitically.
No, we don’t mean just because the Biden State Department has registered yet another colossal foreign policy failure, this latest one in Sudan. As columnist and constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley quipped, “Many people are less interested in what Blinken is doing as secretary of state than in what he did to become secretary of state.”
What does Turley mean? He means that Blinken has been “implicated in a political coverup that could well have made the difference in the 2020 election.”
As we noted earlier this week based on sworn testimony from former Obama CIA Deputy Director Mike Morrell, then-Biden campaign senior adviser Antony Blinken was “the impetus” of the infamous “Gang of 51” letter signed by current and past intelligence officials just days after the New York Post’s bombshell story about Hunter Biden’s laptop. The letter disingenuously warned the American people that the Hunter Biden laptop was part of a Russian disinformation campaign, and thus gave Big Tech and the mainstream media the collective cover they needed to spike the story.
But why Tony Blinken? Sure, he was a senior hand within the Biden campaign, but why him and not someone with a stronger, deeper connection to the intelligence services? Well, now we know why.
As it turns out, Antony Blinken and Hunter Biden are old friends.
As Fox News reports: “Emails from the infamous abandoned laptop that Blinken sought to discredit show that Hunter has ties to Blinken and his wife, Evan Ryan, dating back over a decade, having scheduled meetings with him while he was on the board of Burisma and Blinken was deputy secretary of state.”
Indeed, the email correspondence between the two reveals a remarkable chumminess. In one dated May 22, 2015, Hunter tried to schedule a meeting with Blinken to get his “advice” on some things.
“Have a few minutes next week to grab a cup of coffee?” Hunter asked. “I know you are impossibly busy, but would like to get your advice on a couple of things.”
“Absolutely,” Blinken replied. “I’m just about to land in Tokyo en route back DC from Burma. I’ll be in office from Tuesday on. Copying Linda in my office to find a good time. Look forward to seeing you. Tony.”
At the time, Hunter was employed in that money-for-nothing job with Burisma, the notoriously corrupt Ukrainian energy company.
“These emails,” tweeted professor Turley, “again raise the question why FARA violations have not been referenced in leaks on possible charges against Hunter. It is hard to distinguish some of these efforts from past charged cases.”
FARA, the Foreign Agents Registration Act, was enacted in 1938 and requires Americans who are engaged in political activities or other activities specified under the statute “to make periodic public disclosure of their relationship with the foreign principal, as well as activities, receipts and disbursements in support of those activities.”
Hunter’s ties to key members of his dad’s administration have also drawn the attention of House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, the Kentucky Republican who’s leading the investigation into the first son’s overseas business dealings — you know, the ones that Joe Biden never talked to him about.
“[National security advisor] Jake Sullivan’s in a lot of trouble,” warned Comer on Tuesday. “I would make the argument that Antony Blinken’s in a lot of trouble. … We have a national security crisis on our hands, and the information that I’ve seen… It’s very concerning.”
Concerning indeed.
Just how important was this “Russian disinformation” hoax to the outcome of the election? You tell us. As we’ve noted previously, a stunning Tipp Insights poll from last August makes it clear. As investigative journalist Paul Sperry reported at the time:
A whopping 79 percent of Americans suggest President Donald Trump likely would have won reelection if voters had known the truth about Hunter Biden’s laptop — that it was real and not “Russian disinformation,” as intelligence officials aligned with Joe Biden falsely led the public to believe, a new national poll reveals. …
“Terming the laptop ‘disinformation’ by the FBI, intelligence community, Congress, and the Biden campaign, along with Big Tech, impacted voters,” said Technometrica President Raghavan Mayur, who’s been recognized as the most accurate pollster in recent presidential elections. “A significant majority — 78 percent — believe that access to the correct information could have been critical to their decision at the polls.”
“Actually,” said Wisconsin Republican Ron Johnson, former head of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, “they knew the Hunter Biden laptop was real. The FBI knew that. They had possession of it in December 2019. … They wrote a letter to interfere in our election to a far greater extent than anything China or Russia ever could hope to do.”
So there you have it. And remember: All Donald Trump needed was to flip 43,000 votes in three states: Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin. Think of the radically different history that would’ve been written these past 27 months had the fix not been in on the 2020 election: No January 6 riot, no bone-crushing inflation and moribund economy, no illegal immigration catastrophe, no appallingly costly proxy war in Ukraine. The list could go on and on.
If you have a friend who voted for Joe Biden, gently remind him of all this.
“The Biden Crime Family’s use of their political influence to pressure individuals into creating a bogus letter to hide Hunter Biden’s crimes is corruption at its finest,” said House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, vowing that House Republicans “are committed to the truth, and we are shining a light on this abuse of power and will hold the Biden Crime Family accountable for their illegal actions.”
We’ll see about that. The evidence of corruption is clearly mounting. But, to this point, the wheels of justice have been turning awfully slowly where Hunter and his dad are concerned. That, more than anything else, may explain why Biden says he needs to “finish the job.”
