Currently there are two issues on the table that are going to define you as fighters for ordinary Americans, or as the go-along-to-get-along, elitist, ruling class wimps you have been for quite some time. And if such spinelessness leads to your ultimate demise, all well and good. A nation where millions of Americans have *no one* speaking for them in Washington, D.C. is no nation at all. Issue one, U.S. Attorney General nominee Loretta Lynch, or as the relevant information reveals, Eric Holder, the Sequel. What relevant information? In a country with two distinct political parties, the idea that the women who'd be in charge of the nation's premier law enforcement agency believes illegal aliens have as much right to work in America as legal immigrants and American citizens would be more than enough to DQ her.

Last week in a move that defies common sense, the State Department ordered the Marine Security Force evacuating the American embassy in Yemen to destroy their own weapons before leaving the nation. They were leaving because Obama's self-described counter-terrorist "success story" was overrun by the Houthis, an Iranian-backed, Islamist terror group. Over the weekend, an Islamic terrorist in Copenhagen killed two people at an event promoting free speech and a synagogue. Five police were also wounded in the two separate attacks. Also over the weekend, ISIS released another horrific video depicting the beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians. They also paraded 17 Kurdish Peshmerga fighters in cages through the city of Kirkuk, Iraq, promising to burn them alive like Jordanian pilot Muath al-Kaseasbeh. ISIS has also reportedly seized the town of al-Baghdadi in Iraq's Anbar Province, putting them 5 miles from an air base staffed by U.S. Marines. In France, hundreds of Jewish tombs were desecrated at a cemetery. Obama's reaction to this plethora of savagery and anti-Semitism? He took a three-day golf vacation in Palm Springs that included two rounds at a private course owned by Oracle founder and billionaire Larry Ellison.
The horrific story of child sexual exploitation in Rotherham, England has taken another tawdry turn. "Jessica," who was victimized as a child, insists local politicians "buried the truth to suit their own ends." "I've said all along that this has been about two things – money and power," she explained. "Girls like me were sacrificed because no one wanted the boat rocked because they knew it'd cost them votes if the finger of blame was pointed and because they thought we were worthless." The votes to which Jessica refers are those of the Asian community that Britain's Labour Party needed to maintain its power base in Rotherham. "There was an echelon of people who scratched each other's backs," revealed Solicitor Dave Greenwood, who is representing 38 victims in this burgeoning scandal. "But I think there's an 'X Factor' at play here. It's quite apparent there was a feeling of the need to maintain the Asian vote to preserve Labour's majority in the town," he added.

The UC Student Association Board, representing all 233,000 students enrolled at the10 campuses that comprise the UC system, passed the "Resolution Toward Socially Responsible Investment at the University of California" by a lopsided vote of 11-1-3. Much like the popular and anti-Israel Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) resolutions ginned up by the likes of Muslim Student Associations (MSA) determined to turn many colleges into anti-Semitic wastelands, this resolution demands a similar divestment.

A bombshell report by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) reveals the Obama administration is involved in another massive scandal. More than 5.5 million new work permits were issued to aliens from 2009 to 2014 in addition to the the green cards and temporary worker admissions over that same time period. The CIS further reveals this "huge parallel immigrant work authorization system" operates "outside the limits set by Congress" and "inevitably impacts opportunities for U.S. workers, damages the integrity of the immigration system, and encourages illegal immigration." Thus, President Obama's overt contempt for the American worker and Congressional authority goes a long way towards explaining why all net jobs growth from 2007-2014 has gone to both legal and illegal immigrants. During that time frame, native-born employment declined by more than 1.45 million, while the number of employed immigrants increased by 2 million—along with a rapid growth in immigrant population. "Native employment has still not returned to pre-recession levels, while immigrant employment already exceeds pre-recession levels," revealed the report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) in December. "Furthermore, even with recent job growth, the number of natives not in the labor force (neither working nor looking for work) continues to increase."
For the last few years I've wondered what will be the trip wire that brings down the world's foremost experiment in transnational elitism, better known as the European Union. The shoveling of additional debt on top of previous debt, coupled with the pie-in-the-sky hope that it will somehow work itself out in the long run has just been dealt a severe blow. Led by Alexis Tsipras, Greek's radical-leftist Syriza party assumed control of the Greek Parliament after its own electoral success was coupled with a coalition deal with the Independent Greeks party. The parties have nothing in common other than a similar contempt for the austerity measures imposed on Greece as a condition for the billions of dollars in bailouts it has received from the EU. The coalition now controls 162 seats in Greece's 300 seat Parliament. In short, all hell's about to break loose. "Greek people have written history. The Greek people have sent a strong indisputable mandate for the country to leave behind it austerity," Tsipras told thousands of supporters. "The new government will negotiate with creditors a fair viable solution—a solution for Greece to end its vicious cycle."

As is my inclination, I am more than happy to mock progressive ideology for its utterly distorted view of human nature, its overarching hypocrisy and its intellectual bankruptcy. That being said, three stories from last week are so off the charts they make you wonder if radio talk show host Michael Savage's assertion that liberalism is a mental disorder is accurate. Personally, I think it's an insult to people with such disorders because one can feel a measure of sympathy for people struggling with life's vicissitudes. Liberals/progressives? Not so much. Let's begin with our leftist comrades eating their own. In Hollywood, better known as progressivism's Ground Zero, accusations of racism are flying hot and heavy, because all of the Oscar nominees in the acting categories are of the Caucasian persuasion. Hence the race hustlers are out in force, buoyed by the Sony Pictures hack during which it was revealed co-chairman Amy Pascal and producer Scott Rudin exchanged racially "insensitive" emails. Emails that precipitated a visit from America's foremost racial arsonist, aka Al Sharpton, who never lets the opportunity to precipitate a shakedown go to waste. A subsequent meeting between Sharpton and Pascal led to the formation of a working group that gives Sharpton input into how Sony makes motion pictures, to combat what Sharpton characterized as an "inflexible and immovable racial exclusion in Hollywood."

The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education's (FIRE) latest report reveals that of the 437 colleges and universities they surveyed, more than 55 percent maintain what FIRE refers to as "red light" restrictions on free speech. In 2012, FIRE president Greg Lukianoff offered examples of those "speech codes," noting that they may consist of restricting speech that "feels offensive," "demeaning," that which will "discredit the student body" or any language deemed to be "abusive, indecent, profane or vulgar."
