As 2017 is on the point of vanishing, it’s worth asking whether it’s time to take Trump seriously, if not literally, as a maker of public policy. At least that’s the approach of two heterodox policy analysts, one a persistent skeptic and the other an early Trump fan.
The Left Is Insane
As I have written many times before, the Left increasingly views everything through the prism of race. In its desperation to demonize (and demoralize) conservatives generally, and Donald Trump in particular, the Left has weaponized “racism” in order to shut down dissent and make mainstream values “beyond the pale.”

They were seriously unhappy about the fact that anyone would utter the “lie” about President Trump making it safe to say “merry Christmas” after eight years of the Obamas sending out White House cards wishing “happy holidays.”
