Franklin Graham: It's Open Season on Christians in America
Franklin Graham is a voice crying in the wilderness. "I believe we are perilously close to the moral tipping point for the survival of the United States of America," Graham wrote in Decision magazine. "I refuse to be silent and watch the future of our children and grandchildren be offered up on pagan altars of personal pleasure and immorality." The Supreme Court has already redefined marriage. The nation has become a killing field for Islamic radicals. And Christians have become targets for practicing their First Amendment rights.

Congress Acts
[Wednesday] night the House of Representatives, on a largely party-line vote, passed legislation repealing Obamacare and defunding Planned Parenthood. It has passed bills to repeal Obamacare and defund Planned Parenthood on several occasions. But in previous years, these bills have died in the Senate. What is different this time is that the repeal/defund legislation already passed the new Republican Senate under special rules that prevent filibusters. With the House's approval, both chambers of Congress are now on the record in favor of repealing Obamacare and defunding Planned Parenthood. The bill is now headed to Barack Obama's desk.

Graham's Call to Arms
An extraordinary statement was issued [Tuesday] by a renowned leader of Christian evangelicals, Reverend Franklin Graham. His statement should be considered as a thunderclap to the Republican Party. The GOP is already at loggerheads with its more populist economic supporters in the Tea Party. It has been unable to recreate the kind of message that Ronald Reagan delivered, which brought millions of blue collar workers to the party's banner.

GOP Money Race
Politico reports that billionaire Sheldon Adelson may be on the verge of endorsing Florida Senator Marco Rubio and committing his considerable wealth to backing the junior senator's candidacy. This would be a huge development. Adelson is the Republican Party's biggest donor. He spent $100 million in 2012. If Adelson commits to Rubio, he could single-handedly neutralize Jeb Bush's financial advantage.
