Hey, 'Black Lives Matter' — Do Black Opinions on Guns Matter?
"Gun control advocates," reports Politico, "frustrated by repeated failures to pass even moderate restrictions on gun ownership, are trying to forge an alliance with Black Lives Matter and the criminal justice reform movement in a strategy shift aimed at overcoming the lobbying power of the National Rifle Association." Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton recently said: "I think that we have to look at the fact that we lose 90 people a day from gun violence. This has gone on too long and it's time the entire country stood up against the NRA. The majority of our country supports background checks, and even the majority of gun owners do."

Liberal and Progressive Vision
Here's my question to you: If an evil person is guaranteed that he can inflict physical pain upon others and guaranteed to never suffer pain himself, what happens to his willingness to inflict pain?

Does Hillary Clinton Want Your Guns?
When it comes to gun control, Hillary Clinton said last Friday, "Australia is a good example" for the United States to follow. That comment suggested the leading Democratic presidential candidate's plans in this area are much more ambitious than she usually lets on — so ambitious that implementing them would require ignoring or repealing the Second Amendment.
Clinton Mulls Australia-Style Gun Confiscation
For the sake of the nation, hopefully Clinton flip-flops on this.
Profound Ignorance Behind Calls to Repeal 2nd Amendment
Leftists are getting bolder in their calls for disarming Americans.

The Anti-Jew Anti-Gun Crusade
This week, 2016 Republican presidential contender Dr. Ben Carson bore the brunt of the media's ire for his politically incorrect take on the evils of gun control. "Through a combination of removing guns and disseminating propaganda, the Nazis were able to carry out their evil intentions with relatively little resistance," Carson writes in his new book, "A Perfect Union."

The 'Gun Control' Farce: Part II
The grand illusion of zealots for laws preventing ordinary, law-abiding people from having guns is that "gun control" laws actually control guns. In a country with many millions of guns, not all of them registered, this is a fantasy and a farce. Guns do not vanish into thin air because there are gun control laws. Guns — whether legal or illegal — can last for centuries. Passing laws against guns may enable zealots to feel good about themselves, but at the cost of other people's lives.

The 'Gun Control' Farce
President Obama's intrusion into the mourning community of Roseburg, Oregon, in order to promote his political crusade for stronger gun control laws, is part of a pattern of his using various other sites of shooting rampages in the past to promote this long-standing crusade of the political left.
Here Comes the Executive Action on Gun Control
This does nothing to actually stop mass murders with firearms.

What Common-Sense Gun Control Looks Like
Last Thursday, as Americans were still coming to grips with the tragic rampage in Oregon, President Obama addressed the American people. An hour before the president spoke, news outlets were confirming that the shooter in Oregon had targeted his victims based on their religion.

Another Massacre, Another Charade
There's the cycle of poverty. There's the cycle of violence. And then there's the cycle of gun talk. It starts with a mass shooting. Gun-control advocates blame the deaths on gun-control opponents, who argue, in turn, that none of the proposed restrictions would have had any effect on the incident in question. The debate goes nowhere. The media move on.

Foxx and Friends Debut New Panel
There's plenty of uncertainty about *who* will be leading the House — but not quite as much on *where* they'll lead. One of the biggest priorities of the new speaker has already been decided, thanks in part to [Wednesday's] vote to turn up the heat on Planned Parenthood. Now five investigations into the ghoulish organ harvesting business, members say the only thing they're left with is more questions.

The More You Politicize Guns the Weaker Your Case Becomes
After the horrific mass shooting at a community college in Oregon, President Barack Obama made an impassioned case that gun violence is "something we should politicize": "This is a political choice that we make, to allow this to happen every few months in America. We collectively are answerable to those families who lose their loved ones because of our inaction."

What Is to Be Done?
Regarding last week's mass murder in Oregon, what is there to say that is new? There was a day in America when such an atrocity was almost unheard of. There were family feuds, mafia murders, and I guess what were called juvenile delinquent murders, though they were comparatively rare and for the most part ignored.

Barack Obama, Jackass
Last week, in the aftermath of the mass shooting at Umpqua Community College in Oregon, President Barack Obama took to the microphones to deride anyone who did not agree with his gun control agenda. Stating that it was only good and right to "politicize" the Oregon shooting, Obama stated, "This is a political choice that we make to allow this to happen every few months in America. We collectively are answerable to those families, who lose their loved ones, because of our inaction." Obama then called for "modest" gun regulations, without specifying the nature of those "modest" gun regulations.

Why Obama Prefers Politicizing to Actual Politics
President Obama was right. He was right when, just a few hours after the horrible shooting in Oregon, he decried the fact that such slaughters have become "routine." He was even right, in a sense, when he defended politicizing the tragedy. "Of course," Obama said Thursday night, "what's also routine is that somebody, somewhere, will comment and say, 'Obama politicized this issue.' Well, this is something we should politicize. It is relevant to our common life together, to the body politic."

Hillary Clinton's Simple-Minded Gun Control Ideas
After a gunman murdered nine people at a community college in Oregon last week, President Obama said the solution to such violence is obvious. "It cannot be this easy for somebody who wants to inflict harm on other people to get his or her hands on a gun," he declared. The problem is that we generally do not know a gun buyer "wants to inflict harm on other people" until he does it. That reality shows the folly of relying on background checks or psychiatric intervention to prevent mass shootings.

Clinton Misfires on Gun Control
You can always rely on leftists to offer the wrong solution to a problem.

Hillary's Gun-Control Non Sequiturs
Hillary Clinton has a new gun agenda that is the same as the old gun agenda. We all are appalled and heartsick over the country's mass shootings, which aren't any less shocking for their routine occurrence. But that doesn't mean we know how to stop them. The Pavlovian Democratic reaction is to offer a raft of familiar gun-control proposals, whether or not they have any bearing on mass shootings.
