The Democrat Socialists of America (DSA) will formally release a new national platform this week that essentially shreds our Constitution. The new DSA platform will reportedly call for the following “reforms”: 

• Replacing the presidency with essentially a prime minister who would be “subordinate to Congress.”
• Completely replacing the Supreme Court with a judiciary also subordinate to Congress.
• Abolishing the Senate.
• Abolishing borders.
• Abolishing prisons.
• Amnesty and voting rights for illegal aliens.
• Free healthcare, including abortions and transgender procedures. 

Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Zohran Mamdani and other Democrats are part of this organization that wants to rip up our Constitution and “fundamentally transform” America.
 
More and more “mainstream” Democrats are demanding “radical reform” of the Supreme Court. Their main choice is immediately adding four or five new left-wing justices.
 
What is the purpose of that? As Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said, it is to make sure the court is responding to the “voice of the people.” That’s the exact opposite reason for why the court exists!
 
The Democrat Party and all its various constituencies were totally happy with the Supreme Court from the 1960s until recent years. They were enthralled by the court when it was stopping Bible readings in school, telling us that preborn children were nothing more than Styrofoam cups to be discarded at will and redefining marriage.
 
They were happy to have the Supreme Court do their dirty work for them by finding things that are not in the Constitution. But now that we have a court that cares about what the Constitution actually says, they denounce it as “illegitimate.”
 
There is nothing deeply philosophical about this. It’s not a debate where “reasonable people can disagree.” The Marxist/Islamist Left that is taking over the Democrat Party is fundamentally anti-Constitution and un-American.
