Hunter Biden Goes to Image Rehab
Meanwhile, the FBI just released information about its own efforts to suppress bad information about Joe and Hunter Biden’s Ukraine corruption.
Everywhere you look, Hunter Biden is doing an interview with someone. He also seems to be tailoring his comments for the particular audience, all in an effort to rehabilitate his tattered image.
Last Friday, he told the sympathetic BBC that Joe Biden’s cancer has spread and that his dad is in pain. That’s sad news, regardless of political disagreements.
Hunter also interviewed on the podcast of fake-right huckster Nick Fuentes, where the former first son talked about his cocaine use and took a few shots at President Donald Trump. At least Biden rebuked Fuentes for his noxious antisemitism.
Biden then visited Tucker Carlson’s podcast, where they both seemed to conclude that Hunter’s infamous laptop was hacked, maybe as part of an Israeli or Russian conspiracy. He didn’t abandon it, he says, but, “They hacked my cloud.” The whole “Russian disinformation” smear was debunked a long time ago, but the Bidens keep tossing it out there as obfuscation.
Hunter conceded to Carlson, “I don’t have digital forensic evidence that it was hacked by this person or this entity or this organization, that it was Mossad, or that it was the GRU, or that it was, or that it was some kid in his basement.” But the insinuation is still awfully strong, and that’s his point.
As for Carlson, when he was still thriving under the guardrails at Fox News, he truthfully reported that Hunter’s laptop was “dropped off at a Delaware computer repair shop … and then abandoned there.” The shop owner gave the laptop to the FBI.
Now, Carlson says, “We get approached by Israelis connected to Benjamin Netanyahu … who are shopping this stuff to me at Fox News.”
After that, I can’t say for sure whether the dynamic duo covered flat-earthism or the fake moon landing.
“There’s no possible way all of the information that was eventually labeled as my laptop came from one laptop,” Biden insisted. “It’s way too large.” Baloney. The federal government under Joe Biden finally attested to the laptop’s legitimacy. That laptop was presented as evidence in the court cases resulting in Biden’s convictions of a gun felony and tax evasion.
Good thing he got one of those dime-a-dozen Joe Biden pardons! It even had Joe’s real signature, not that of the autopen.
Hunter Biden is everywhere now, he says, because he’s endured several years of negative press. “In that total exposure, there was nowhere to hide,” he told Carlson. “The only way out was through — owning the things that were true and speaking truth to the things that were false.”
Maybe we can look forward to a Carlson/Biden ticket in Carlson’s new third party.
His motive is likely at least partially financial. Hunter recently told a court he’s broke so he could get out of paying his bills, so don’t rule out the possibility that he’s still just selling the Biden family name, which seems to be the only business he knows.
Speaking of selling the family name, that’s the core of the second part of this story.
Hunter now says he regrets taking a board position with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma while Joe was vice president. “It was a stupid thing to do,” he told Carlson, “you know, because I wasn’t fully aware of what a swamp it was and the narrative that would be able to be spun.”
It wasn’t “stupid” because of the “swamp” but because he was influence peddling on his dad’s name.
That resulted in Joe Biden’s quid pro quo with Ukraine. Remember, the Democrats impeached Trump for what Biden actually did.
Well, news broke just this week about the FBI, the Bidens, and Ukraine. Here’s the report from Just the News:
The FBI and U.S. spy agencies received derogatory evidence about Joe Biden from 14 different informants but embarked on a secret operation to tamp down a Ukrainian corruption scandal engulfing his family during the 2020 election by formally designating Attorney General Bill Barr, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, key members of Congress and journalists as Russian disinformation “conduits,” according to explosive intelligence community documents declassified by the White House.
The Federalist notes the political sides of the players: “Democrat figures like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, George Soros, John Kerry, and Paul Pelosi were all labeled ‘target(s).’ Republicans like Then-Attorney General Bill Barr, Then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Then-Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, Then-Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., Rep. Pete Sessions, R-Texas, and Then-acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney were considered ‘conduit(s).’”
Codenamed “Round River,” Just the News characterized the FBI operation as “a mirror opposite of the Russia collusion probe known as Crossfire Hurricane.” At the risk of oversimplifying, in Crossfire, the FBI elevated fabricated intelligence — actual Russian disinformation paid for by Hillary Clinton — into a handicapping probe of Trump. In Round River, the FBI ignored or actively suppressed corroborated intelligence as supposedly Russian disinformation to help the Bidens.
Hunter Biden’s tax conviction stems in part from money he made in Ukraine — a scheme revealed on his laptop. So this is all just one big ball of spaghetti.
Yet Hunter Biden told Tucker Carlson that Donald Trump is “the one existential threat that I think we all face as a country.” That was a special treat for his Leftmedia pals.
