There are a number of definitions of the term “projection.” Let me use just one to make my point: “The unconscious transfer of one’s own desires or emotions to another person.”

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that leftists have been projecting onto conservatives what they themselves are doing. Just pay attention to what’s being said by the Leftmedia.

Let’s take the first impeachment of President Donald Trump. The Democrat House impeached Trump for a phone call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump allegedly asked Zelenskiy to dig up dirt on the Bidens. In reality, Trump was impeached for what Joe Biden actually did.

As vice president, Biden told top Ukraine officials he’d withhold a billion dollars in aid if they didn’t fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma. Hunter Biden was on the board of Burisma, receiving about $80,000 per month. Recent information reveals that just months before, the Obama administration commended the work prosecutor Victor Shokin was doing to fight government corruption. Joe Biden got him fired.

There are so many other examples, but let’s just highlight a few. Virginia parents are concerned about what public schools are teaching their kids. Radical transgender policies, Critical Race Theory (CRT), and sexually explicit books in libraries concern many parents. The Biden White House apparently asked the National School Boards Association to request help to protect teachers and school board members from parents who might be domestic terrorists. The letter was passed on to the FBI, which now has a special task force to surveil parents.

Conservatives are regularly called racists, sexists, homophobes, and domestic terrorists for simply wanting to protect their children, keep their communities safe, and exercise their First and Second Amendment rights. Leftists tell us we’re too stupid to teach our own kids. Object publicly to your daughter being sexually assaulted in school by a boy wearing a skirt, and you’re the one going to jail!

The Left says conservatives are destroying “democracy.” Democrats want to pass legislation that helps them win every election going forward, but Republicans are the enemy. The Left wants to pass multitrillion-dollar legislation that will totally destroy our economy, but conservatives want to starve poor people and take away their welfare and childcare.

One of the biggest examples of projection, in my opinion, is the great “insurrection” of January 6, 2021. Hundreds of citizens are being held without bail, without access to an attorney or speedy trial, because they allegedly tried to “overthrow democracy.” If that’s true, it was a spectacular failure! Those arrested are having their rights trampled, many of them for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. We all agree those who assaulted police or destroyed property need to be prosecuted.

Republicans in the House are referred to as “the enemy.” Joe Biden speaks about defending America against all enemies, foreign and domestic (emphasis on domestic). He didn’t mean Russia, China, Iran, or North Korea. He meant his political enemies in Congress. Nancy Pelosi, call your office.

This appears to be the greatest bait-and-switch I’ve ever seen. Time for Patriots to take a stand for the Constitution while we still can.
