Re: “Biden Finally Got His ‘White Supremacist’”
“In every one of these mass shootings there have been multiple ‘red flags’ that were ignored by persons in authority and numerous incidents in the chain of events leading up to the tragedy where officials ‘dropped the ball.’ The gun laws are there; they only need to be strictly enforced. Taking guns from the law-abiding public will do nothing to stop these attacks and will only serve to make the public even more defenseless.” —Pennsylvania
“The Buffalo mass shooting is yet another shameful example of the Left’s failure to properly recognize and handle mental illness. And we’ll have to suffer the political fallout as the Left will seek to disarm America, again. But I was laughing at the irony. The shooter cited ‘replacement theory’ where, in simplistic terms, white elites are intentionally scheming to replace white citizens with non-whites. No one would dare ask Biden or the NYT about it — they would deny it emphatically. Yet what’s going on at our southern border? How many people are streaming across, enabled by Biden and his leftist regime? What portion of them are white? What portion of them are being turned away? And all of it is being paid for by U.S. taxpayers.” —Illinois
Re: “NRA Fratricidal Fire Hits Second Amendment Hard”
“The NRA lost me years ago. We were, and still are, losing ground on our Second Amendment. Then came the stories about the way it was spending our money. Not mine … not anymore. That’s all it took for many to see its corruption. People don’t have any use for the likes of Wayne LaPierre or the rest. It will take the NRA decades to build what we once had, but I’m too old to worry about it or give much thought to it. The size of the compensation packages was an embarrassment and disgrace. Then the jets and trips were a blatant disregard for us and the Second Amendment. So now it’s unprepared to fight a good fight and wants more money. It doesn’t work like that anymore. Start over!” —Oregon
I’m a lifetime member of the NRA and still support it through donations. I believe the organization does vital work. However, I have been deeply concerned with all the negative press coming out with the current leadership. LaPierre since 1991? Thirty-one years is too long for anyone to wield power. I think the old saying about politicians being like diapers that need to be changed often applies here.“ —Texas
Re: ”‘No Argument’? Levine’s False Gender-Affirming Claims“
"As a recently retired physician with over 50 years of experience, I can say that your article, which correctly refers to Levine as ‘he,’ is the first time I have seen anybody get his pronouns right. Physicians know that there are two genders, male and female, and letting your hair grow long does not change that. One can only have sympathy for this deluded person, but Levine should not have a government job doing anything.” —Pennsylvania
Re: “Biden Gives Us Gas Pains”
“Joe and his leftist cronies obviously want to drag us back to the Stone Age. They don’t care how inconvenient it is, or how expensive it is; they just want to shut down energy production and cripple the economy. They are elitists and don’t really care what gas costs — plus, most of them get chauffeured to their destinations anyway. Do you think Joe cares about $8 gas? Why would he? Does he even have a clue what a real ‘Joe’ is going through?” —New York
Re: “Bad Timing for Biden’s Binge”
“Joe is the patriarchal head of a callous castle-on-the-hill, multi-millionaire family who valiantly rid the land of the evil Corn Pop. What does the rising cost of groceries and gasoline for the lice-infected peasants and lack of baby formula for their unwanted smelly offspring mean to him as long as he actually believes what he is doing is both righteous and self-serving?” —North Carolina
Re: “The Coming COVID Midterm Fraud”
“Americans must use every legal means to stop the repeat of the Dems’ COVID-19 strategy that created 81 million votes for Joe Biden in 2020. Democrats love absentee voting because it’s so easy to cheat. The moral decline of the Democrat Party is responsible for the astounding votes on insane bills in the Senate. Abortion up until birth? Federal corruption of elections? Tolerance of leftist mobs? No problem for most Democrats in Congress. Elections are supposed to be a corrective for raw abuses of power by one party, but the Democrat Party is more than willing to lie, cheat, steal, and gaslight its way to ‘victory’ this fall.” —Ohio
Re: “Florida’s Kids Will Learn Their History”
“Our country needs to learn about the evils of socialism in American history. There are some forms of it that are good — public libraries, helping the truly poor — but keeping the poor down is just evil. We should teach them to be educated and to stand on their own feet, proud of who they are and able to do whatever job they choose. However, just giving them a fish for one meal doesn’t help — teaching them to fish so they can always eat is an entirely different thing. That’s how to help!” —Texas
