Patriot Post Revenue and Expenses
From our humble beginnings on the Web in 1996, The Patriot Post is now a primary touchstone of Liberty for millions of Americans. Thousands of grassroots leaders across the nation repost our content on their organizational blogs, social networking sites and in print publications. Educators use our content for classroom instruction. American military personnel depend on our digest content as a primary source of news analysis, policy and opinion.
Why do we request your support? Because there is no more effective and cost efficient method to promote the timeless message of Liberty to millions of Americans across our great nation, and to keep the flame of Liberty burning bright! We do not ask support from our Armed Forces readers, students, those in the mission field and Patriots of any age with limited resources.
Why do we run three annual funding campaigns? The short answer is, I am not willing to risk our critical staff, mission and operation budgets on one large year-end campaign. Thus, we run two short "funding gap" bridge campaigns -- Patriots’ Day and Independence Day -- but raise almost 60 percent of our Patriot Annual Fund revenue in the yearend campaign. These campaigns are critical to keeping us funded throughout the year.
We are not sustained by any political, special interest, or parent organization, and we do not accept advertising to ensure our advocacy and editorial content is not restrained by commercial influence — as is the case with all mass media outlets. Thus, you will note our website and email editions are free of the offensive advertising which clutters commercial news websites.
But publishing, like freedom, is not free.
Producing the nation's leading grassroots journal of Liberty requires outstanding editorial and technical teams, operations staff, sophisticated hardware, robust custom software, office space and installations, legal, accounting and insurance costs.
Our mission and operation budgets are a small fraction of other influential conservative organizations, primarily because we are located far from the DC Beltway news, policy and opinion organizations, and our dedicated editors and staff are motivated by mission and not deterred by modest wages.
However, our outreach is far and wide, and we top the list of the best investments you can make in the future of American Liberty.
Our mission and operations budgets are funded by entirely by the voluntary financial support of American Patriots like YOU!
Please support The Patriot Post today!
On behalf of your Patriot Team and our National Advisory Committee, thank you for the honor and privilege of serving you as Executive Editor and Publisher of The Patriot Post.
