Medal of Honor Recipients Endorse Presidential Candidate
A distinguished group of military Patriots endorsed a presidential ticket, but the MSM was AWOL.
Recently, in a column about completing military/national security endorsements for Trump/Vance and Harris/Walz, I noted that in September, Kamala Harris announced that a consortium of leftist deep state political hacks issued an endorsement letter backing her.
Additionally, I noted that all you need to know about the integrity of the Harris endorsements is that nine of the former top intelligence officials who signed on for her also signed the letter claiming, just weeks before the 2020 election, that Hunter Biden’s laptop was actually a “Russian disinformation” subterfuge.
Ironically, that letter was the “disinformation” charade used by Biden’s Leftmedia publicists to justify the biggest pre-election media blackout in modern history.
Last week, two lists of endorsements for Trump were released, one signed by more than 200 former high-ranking military officers and another signed by more than 400 former national security and foreign policy officials, including 40 former U.S. ambassadors and, notably, Gold Star families of those killed during the Biden/Harris disastrous and deadly surrender and retreat from Afghanistan.
The Trump list of distinguished endorsements grew this week, but based on the pre-election suppression of conservative news, you probably did not hear about it.
Adding their names to a third endorsement letter this week were 15 Medal of Honor recipients. While all but a few I know have personally expressed support for Trump, as have the vast majority of combat Veterans, signing on to a public letter is unusual because the recipients do not want to politicize the Medal of Honor.
But given the dire and impending threat to our national security posed by the Harris/Walz ticket, it had to be done.
In their letter, recipients from the battles in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam declared:
We believe that American citizenship is a revered privilege. We believe that a patriotic nation is a strong nation. We believe that the sacrifices by the men and women in our armed forces preserves and protects American freedom. We believe that the integrity of our institutions is fundamental to the trust placed in them. We believe in the commitment to the United States Constitution and our solemn oaths to protect it. We believe valor is great fortitude when faced with profound adversity. We believe in the devoted pledge of allegiance to the United States of America. We believe that American veterans should be celebrated and supported by our nation. We believe that our nation must have borders secure from our enemies. We believe in protecting the right for all citizens to participate in free and fair elections.
Notably, in a stern reference to Tim Walz’s stolen valor record, the recipients declared that “fabricating military service is beneath the dignity of a veteran and demeaning to those who have served honorably in the Armed Forces.”
They continued:
We believe the enemies of freedom must be defeated. We believe the American flag is a powerful symbol of freedom. We believe the United States of America is the greatest nation the world has ever imagined. We believe in mutually pledging to every American our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.
The letter closes: “We 15 recipients of the Medal of Honor, having served this great nation in wars, support and endorse Donald J. Trump for President of the United States.”
Again, let me remind those contemplating casting their vote for the Harris/Walz ticket: YOU can stop the bloodshed. This will be your last chance to wash the blood from your hands.
