Ahead of the contentious midterm elections earlier this month, we published a comprehensive list of the Trump administration’s extraordinary domestic and foreign policy achievements. Despite that strong record, I pondered rhetorically whether Democrats would vote against peace and prosperity.

They did, of course, but in numbers that were not nearly as devastating for Republicans as they were for two previous Democrat administrations: In their respective first midterm elections, Bill Clinton lost 52 House seats and eight Senate seats, while Barack Obama lost 63 House seats and six Senate seats.

I noted that the election was a “referendum on Demo voter IQ” and the Demo/MSM’s “Hate Trump” chokehold on their opinion.

That “Hate Trump” platform was all Democrats had, but they managed to defeat some very capable Republicans in close Senate, House, and gubernatorial campaigns. Notably, Demo leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer promoted socialist candidates in order to rally their embittered constituents.

The two most formidable, and thus consequential, factors that enable Democrats to win elections are their massive Leftmedia machine and their billionaire socialist benefactors.

The former constitutes their frontline public-relations effort to undermine Liberty and constitutional Rule of Law. As Donald Trump noted recently, the “fake news” media’s abject bias and constant assault on freedom makes it a formidable “enemy of the people.”

The latter, however, is equally foreboding, as the Left now enjoys a sizable stable of leftist billionaires who constitute the “Archenemies of Liberty.”

While it may seem that “billionaire socialists” is an oxymoron, it’s really not. The fact is, politically, as with financially, George Soros, Tom Steyer, Jeff Bezos, and Michael Bloomberg — the “Big Four” foes of Liberty — share an insatiable narcissistic quest for power. The ultimate prize of that quest is centralized government power, which they control by way of their political beneficiaries in office.

Thus, the combination of the Demo/MSM and their big-bucks benefactors forms the greatest domestic threat to Liberty in our nation’s history.

However, we should keep in front of us that the Left’s statist objectives are temporal.

The unalienable Rights of Man, the rights of all people endowed by our Creator, are eternal.

The Patriot Post is the most effective way to counterpunch these adversaries.
