‘Never Forget.’ But We Did!

Leftists have signaled to the bad actors in the world that we really won’t do anything to stop their aggression.

Depending on your age, most Americans remember where they were on September 11, 2001. I had left our chapel at Teen Challenge when a staff member came and told us a plane had hit one of the World Trade Center towers in New York City. By the time we turned on the TV, we watched a second commercial aircraft slam into the South tower. Everyone knew this wasn’t an accident.

Millions watched as the towers collapsed, minutes apart. America knew we were under attack. Then the Pentagon was hit, followed by the crash in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Osama bin Laden’s name was mentioned early on. After all, from a cave in Afghanistan in 1996, he had declared war on America — but we didn’t believe him.

America came together. Congress prayed and sang “God Bless America” together. That unity lasted as long as it took for progressives to figure out how to use the attack to their benefit to obtain more political power. And here we are today with two political parties fighting for control of the nation’s future.

The leftist progressives have already signaled to the bad actors in the world that we really won’t do anything to stop their aggression against other nations. It’s a sad reality, but since Vietnam, America’s warriors win the battles and the politicians lose the wars. The Left abandoned Iraq and Afghanistan, and Iran has filled the void through its proxies.

After Biden pulled out of Afghanistan in a disastrous retreat, the Taliban brutally took over as we witnessed another “Fall of Saigon” moment. Putin was emboldened to invade Ukraine after Joe Biden’s pathetic comment about a limited invasion. Hamas, supported by Iran, invaded Israel, inflicting the most horrific violence on Jews since the Holocaust. Both wars continue as Biden slow-walks the weapons and supplies needed for both nations to win.

Americans have been killed in Israel and some are still held hostage in Gaza. Biden and Kamala Harris NEVER mention their names. Houthi goat herders in Yemen inflict destruction on shipping in the Red Sea while our Navy is deployed there. Not only did America forget the tragedy of 9/11, but we ignore the blatant threats from Russia, Iran, China, and North Korea. We’re weak in the eyes of our enemies; the sharks smell blood in the water.

For nearly four years now, our borders have been sieves to be exploited by illegal immigrants and gangs from around the world. Hundreds of thousands of these are military-age men from nations that hate us. How many divisions of Chinese military-age men are now in our country? No one knows. Add to those men from Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Venezuela, El Salvador, and more.

While Donald Trump was president, no wars broke out, the border was being brought under control, and our enemies saw Trump destroy ISIS and take out Iran’s number one exporter of terror, Gen. Qasem Soleimani. They feared him, but they don’t fear Biden or Harris. They are rubbing our noses in the dirt because we won’t fight for ourselves. Thousands of “student” protestors burn our flag and chant “Death to America” on our campuses. They threaten and harass Jewish students with no consequences. Look what happened as a result of 19 terrorists on 9/11. What can hundreds, thousands, or even tens of thousands of terrorists do?

The next 9/11 isn’t a matter of “if” but when, and the progressives will own it. But by all means, vote for Harris because Trump sends mean tweets! God help us!

Something to pray about!
