If you needed more proof that the Democrats have fully embraced insanity, intolerance, and the implosion of our country, you can add Maureen Galindo, a sex therapist running for Congress in Texas, to the long list of examples.

As Senator John Kennedy has noted, the Democrats are now run by the “left-wing loons” of their party, and it’s only getting worse. They have the communists like Zohran Mamdani and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the mentally confused like Tim (Sarah) McBride, and Nazi-loving porn addicts like Graham Platner, just to name a few rising stars. They may add to their ranks a woman in Texas’s 35th district who says she will “turn Karnes ICE Detention Center into a prison for American Zionists and former ICE officers for human trafficking.” She added, “It will also be a castration processing center for pedophiles, which will probably be most of the Zionists.”

That is an absolutely insane statement. Concentration camps and forced sterilization ringing any bells?

This woman has got to be certifiable and should not be anywhere near public office. But no, she was the top Democrat in the March primary election for that district, with 29.2% of the vote to 27% for her opponent, Johnny Garcia. Since neither received a majority, the two have advanced to a runoff next Tuesday. National Republican Congressional Committee spokesperson Christian Martinez commented, “Democrats Johnny Garcia and Maureen Galindo are tearing each other apart in a full-blown primary civil war, turning their own races into a circular firing squad.”

Congressional races are often contentious, but Maureen isn’t attacking her opponent, and what she’s proposing isn’t normal. As per usual, she’s catering to the radicals in the Democrat Party and trying to make the extreme mainstream. Aside from John Fetterman, it seems that the Democrats have increasingly become the TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) party. Those who voted for Galindo praised her plan to impeach President Donald Trump and destroy ICE.

Apparently, they also support antisemitism since her plan to force Zionists into ICE detention facilities sounds a lot like putting Jews in cattle cars and warehouses. The watchdog group StopAntisemitism responded to her remarks as well, stating, “The standard that Democrats rightly apply to right-wing antisemites must apply equally to left-wing Jew-haters. Democratic leaders must clearly, publicly denounce these bigots infecting their party without hedging. They must decline to appear on platforms with Hasan Piker. They must stop winking at extremist voices and truly stand for the principles they claim to stand for.”

In further proof of Galindo’s derangement, her campaign put out this nonsensical statement: “When Maureen gets into Congress, she’ll write legislation so that all Zionism and support of Zionism is undoubtedly Anti-Semitic, since it’s Zionism harming the Semites.” So, let me try to unpack this: Americans who are pro-Israel, which is a Jewish nation, are anti-Jew and somehow “harming” Jews and therefore should be locked up. That’s a head-scratcher, but also deeply anti-American since she is proposing imprisoning law-abiding American citizens for their opinions or beliefs.

Of course, Democrats are attempting to rewrite the narrative to blame the Republicans, as they always do. Earlier this month, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) blared that “MAGA extremists should be ashamed of themselves” and that “Washington Republicans” are secretly funding Galindo’s campaign through dark money. Regardless of whether that is true, it is beside the point. Rather, the point is that the Democrats already have these extremists in their party, Republican funding or not. All we’re doing is noticing and shining a spotlight on them, and that’s all the Republicans need to continue to do. Hold the course on common sense, upholding the laws of our country, and putting the American people first, and it will continue to reveal just how radical the Democrat Party has become because they represent the opposite of all those positions.

To the Democrats’ credit, however, they at least called out Galindo for her extreme and hateful remarks and are not endorsing her. AOC labeled her comments “absolutely disgusting,” adding that her “bigoted garbage and antisemitism should be nowhere near our politics.” Hakeem Jeffries rebuked Galindo, saying, “This vile language by her is disqualifying and has no place in American politics, and certainly not in the Democratic Party.” He further urged Texans not to be fooled by her and to reject her at the ballot box. James Talarico, the Democrat running for a Senate seat in Texas, weighed in as well, declaring, “We need leadership in both parties willing to stand up and call out hate wherever it rears its ugly head. This antisemitic rhetoric has no place in our politics.”

The problem is that Democrats didn’t call out the antisemitic riots and attacks across the country after October 7, nor the antisemitism that is rising as a result of the Iran war. They have no problems with Hasan Piker’s Jew-hating rhetoric or the Hamasniks’ calls for the death of the Jews. The only reason they’re crying foul about this is that they think they can blame Republicans for it and make them look bad; otherwise, they would have turned a blind eye, just as they have done for all the other radicals in their party.

Radicalism is a feature, not a bug, of the Democrat Party now. Let’s hope they dig their own grave by embracing it, and that the American people won’t give up in fighting back against it. I will give Maureen Galindo one thing: at least she’s honest. Unlike AOC, Mamdani, and Abigail Spanberger, she is telling you who she actually is.
