Firearm Producers Depart NY
Manufacturers defy SAFE Act.
In defiance of the state’s SAFE Act, three gun companies are preparing to leave New York and set up shop in more gun-friendly territory. According to the Washington Free Beacon, “American Tactical Imports (ATI) … will be investing $2.7 million in its new facility and creating 117 new jobs in South Carolina,” Kahr Arms is headed to Pennsylvania, and “Remington Arms is reportedly scouting locations in Tennessee for a new plant.” Memo to Gov. Cuomo: You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
