Healthcare.gov Won’t Be Ready

“The [Healthcare.gov] system will not work perfectly on December 1 but will operate much better than it did in October,” according to Julie Bataille, a spokeswoman for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The Hindenburg-like launch of Healthcare.gov has, of course, dragged down Obama and all Democrats. But the White House has continued to promise that, though they didn’t get it right the first time after hundreds of millions of dollars and three years development time, they’d have it all fixed by Dec. 1 so people could buy coverage before the deadline.
