Pricing Healthcare.gov
Should cost under $10 million!
The cost of developing the federal Healthcare.gov exchange is well into the hundreds of millions of dollars, if not already north of $1 billion according to a Bloomberg Government (BGOV) report. One tech expert explains what developing the website should have cost if done properly. David Kennedy, President and CEO of TrustedSec, told Fox News’ Sean Hannity, “I would say to build a site like this with the infrastructure, the architecture around it, you are looking at maybe $5 million to $10 million at a very maximum rate.” Then again, government is incapable of managing anything efficiently.
