Exchange Marketing Gimmicks
Marketing on, website off.
Well that was bad timing. Just as a new big marketing push for California’s ObamaCare exchange website kicked off, the website itself went down due to “unexpected” glitches. New TV and radio ads were set to encourage people, especially Latinos who’ve been slow to enroll, to sign up by the March 31 deadline. As Hot Air’s Mary Katherine Ham wryly observed, “You can still browse the site for expensive plans and compare expensive prices, and hey, maybe if you manage to put something in your cart, presumably the Obama administration can count you as an ‘enrollee.’ But you can’t actually enroll.”
