Half of O’Care Deadlines Missed
Executive fiat.
The Congressional Research Service says that the Obama administration has now missed 44 of 83, or more than half, of ObamaCare deadlines. One deadline was more than two-and-a-half years late, and several other requirements were more than 24 months past due. CRS notes that “none of the provisions in the ACA establishing deadlines on agency implementation appear to contain any type of legislative ‘hammer.’” That’s putting it mildly. Just look at how many times Barack Obama has changed the rules through executive fiat, with hardly a hint of condemnation from his leftist comrades. The entire law is itself unconstitutional, so why should Democrats, who forced this law down the American people’s throat, suddenly be expected to play fair?
