Obama and Christian Martyrs
Another broken promise.
Regarding all the administration outrage over the Christian children kidnapped in Nigeria by Boko Haram, at the national prayer breakfast on Feb. 6 Barack Obama promised, “Going forward, we will keep standing for religious freedom around the world. … I look forward to nominating our next ambassador-at-large for International Religious Freedom to help lead these efforts. And we’re moving ahead with our new strategy to partner more closely with religious leaders and faith communities as we carry out our foreign policy.” That position has now been vacant for eight months and in that time tens of thousands of Christians have been assaulted or martyred by Islamic extremists. However, yesterday Obama did announce the appointment of Caitlin Cahow to his Counsel on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition. Priorities.
