Hillary’s Book Regurgitates

Same old story.

Politico obtained a copy of the chapter on Benghazi from Hillary Clinton’s forthcoming book, “What Difference Does It Make?” Actually, the title is “Hard Choices,” but whatever. In the chapter, Hillary argues the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on U.S. facilities in Libya that left our ambassador and three others dead were … drumroll please … because of a YouTube video. “There were scores of attackers that night, almost certainly with differing motives,” she writes. “It is inaccurate to state that every single one of them was influenced by this hateful video. It is equally inaccurate to state that none of them were. Both assertions defy not only the evidence but logic as well.” She touts that she ordered an investigation nine days after the attack, which is a bizarre thing to boast. And she slams those who would “exploit this tragedy over and over as a political tool.” It’s hardly exploitation to demand answers for her and Obama’s dereliction of duty. But that’s her story and she’s evidently going to stick to it all the way through the 2016 presidential election. Also she says, “I will not be part of a political slugfest on the backs of dead Americans. It’s just plain wrong, and it’s unworthy of our great country. Those who insist on politicizing the tragedy will have to do so without me.” There would be no dead Americans if Clinton and Obama weren’t playing politics. They managed to undermine U.S. foreign-policy around the world. More…
