The government should consider these cuts.
Where, oh where do we trim the fat from the federal government? The Daily Signal found nine places on the Washington piggy that could use a slim. For example, the USDA Market Access Program spends $173 million and walks away with a cholesterol-fighting squirrel and a drinking trip for a bunch of journalists, among other things. Or how about the Import-Export Bank? In 2013, large companies like Boeing received $27.3 billion for going international with its business. The green agenda is pretty important to this administration, but why is the government still doling out $593 million to research and advance non-green, conventional fuels?
