For example, the USDA Market Access Program spends $173 million and walks away with a cholesterol-fighting squirrel and a drinking trip for a bunch of journalists, among other things. Or how about the Import-Export Bank? In 2013, large companies like Boeing received $27.3 billion for going international with its business. The green agenda is pretty important to this administration, but why is the government still doling out $593 million to research and advance non-green, conventional fuels?
