PA Town Is ‘Not a Gun Free Zone’
Supposed “gun free zones” have long served as magnets for deranged killers who can prey on unarmed victims. One Pennsylvania town has taken note and is advertising the opposite. Some signs at the town’s border read, “THIS IS NOT A GUN FREE ZONE.” According to Stephen Mohr, one of the township supervisors, “I think even those who have bad intentions can read.” Mohr added, “We have a lot here that we take pride in. What we’re telling people is that when they do come here, they should feel safer knowing that everyone in the township is watching out for them. And the criminal – he should realize that going into this township he could have a bad day.” Of course, it will take more than a sign to defend the town’s residents, which is the point we repeatedly fire on target with “gun free” signs. But at least this PA town is sending a better message. More…
