Democrat Admits Voter Fraud Is a Real Problem
An NYC elections commissioner agrees with conservatives.
Project Veritas just released another undercover video — this one featuring an inconvenient admission from Alan Schulkin, a Democrat elections commissioner for New York City: “There is a lot of fraud — not just voter fraud, all kinds of fraud.” In the video from a conversation at a party last December, Schulkin confirms the problem of voter fraud that many conservatives have warned about for some time. When questioned about asking for ID cards to vote, Schulkin replied, “The law says you can’t ask for anything, which they really should be able to do. You know I don’t think it’s too much to ask someone to show some kind of an ID.”
He also referenced the problem with New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s ID card program. Schulkin said, “He gave out ID cards, de Blasio. They don’t… that’s in lieu of a driver’s license, but you can use it for anything. But they didn’t vet the people to see who they really are. Anybody can go in there and say, I’m Joe Smith, I want an ID card. It’s absurd.” He even opined, “This is why I’m getting more conservative as I get older.”
Indeed, this is further evidence of the need for voter ID laws. Those on the Left who rail against them are at best unconcerned with the integrity of the U.S.‘s electoral system or at worst actively defrauding, and therefore disenfranchising, honest Americans.
