Fake News From Dumb and Dumber — Cummings and Pelosi

Leftist are experts at peddling misinformation.

Rep. Elijah Cummings and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi shoveled a pile of fake news to a gaggle of hungry reporters, which they assumed was from the Twitter account of embattled Gen. Michael Flynn. The tweet noted, “While I accept full responsibility for my actions, I feel it is unfair that I have been made the sole scapegoat for what happened. But if a scapegoat is what’s needed for this Administration to continue to take this great nation forward, I am proud to do my duty.” Problem is, it was not a statement from Gen. Flynn. Here’s how Cummings and Pelosi stirred the conspiracy pot of “scapegoat” stew:

The New York Times also propagated this misinformation. But there’s just one problem: The account isn’t legit. In fact, the profile now explicitly states it’s a parody account. There’s so much fake news out there. It would be nice if Democrats quit promoting it.
