As I ponder so many things that are happening in our country, here are a few random thoughts. I will admit that I am not an authority on a number of these issues. After all, I’m not the brightest knife in the drawer … or is that the sharpest bulb in the box? Anyway, if I can see these things, I think most average Americans can also see them.

Progressives, when they talk about the Robert Mueller probe, say they only want to get to the bottom of Russian collusion in the 2016 election. I’ll believe that when they begin to investigate the Clinton campaign, Fusion GPS, Glenn Simpson, and the Democratic National Committee and their working together to smear the Trump campaign (with the Russians).

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says that the “New Green Deal” will save America from total destruction in just 10 years. This is a very serious matter if that’s true! We’re all going to die in 10 years? In 10 years we will even do away with air travel (planes pollute). Except … when asked about private planes, no, they’re not included. How could Al Gore, Leonardo DiCaprio, Harrison Ford, and all of the other global-warming advocates get to all their events around the globe if they can’t use their private jets to get there? They NEED their planes. The rest of us don’t (apparently).

Nancy Pelosi is very concerned about poor, illegal immigrants. They are being abused by ICE and the Border Patrol at the border. Children ripped from the arms of their mothers, dying in cages alone. I will believe she cares as soon as she takes in a bus load of these huddled masses yearning to be free into her home. There has to be plenty of room at her vineyard, right?

Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are livid as to how the middle class is being ripped off by rich capitalists and the rich are getting richer! Yet both of them and a number of Democrats (and some Republicans) are all rich — much richer than the average American. Bernie Sanders owns three homes? I will believe they’re sincere when they sell their other homes and give the money to the poor or send busloads of those poor illegal immigrants at the border and put them in their extra homes.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Progressives want us to give up our health care and let the government provide it for us. So in effect, we all get the same health care that is provided for our veterans? As soon as they give up their Cadillac, taxpayer-funded health care and go on it first to show us how great it is, seeing is believing.

Americans are not stupid. We see that what you are saying in your rallies and press conferences is not the same as what you are doing! Don’t just talk the talk, but walk the walk. We are watching!
