The ‘Democrat Supremacy’ Mystery
Ida B. Wells had a price put on her head because she challenged the status quo.
In order to understand “BLACK” history you have to understand the Democrat Supremacy Mystery. White Supremacy is too bland; too general. The truest form of supremacy is not a color, but an ideology. This underhanded mystery is hidden within the Democrat Party, and that is why I call it what it is: “Democrat Supremacy.” The plight of blacks in America is directly linked to the political, evil agenda of the Democrat and progressive “whites” who instigated it. Nonetheless, there was one distinguished woman who stood toe to toe in the face of tyranny and cried out for freedom when it could have cost her life.
Ida B. Wells had a price put on her head because she challenged the “Democrat Supremacy” of the Southern Democrat Party elites. She was a former slave turned famous journalist in Memphis, Tennessee. She was orphaned at age 16 when her parents died of Yellow Fever. She researched the lynching of black men due to the allegations of “raping of white women” and concluded that not only were the accusations of rape false, but Southern whites (Democrats) were using these accusations to lynch black men by whom they felt financially intimidated. In the 1800s in Memphis, some of the black men being lynched were business owners in direct competition with Democrat Southern Whites. Three of them were Thomas Moss, Calvin McDowell, and Will Stewart (all grocery business owners). Their deaths were brutal and the murderers were never brought to trial.
The Bible teaches “for the LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL KINDS OF EVIL” (1 Timothy 6:10). The evil of lynching was about the LOVE OF MONEY, not the hatred of skin color. Wells wrote, “This is what opened my eyes to what lynching really was. An excuse to get rid of Negroes who were acquiring wealth and property and thus keep the race terrorized and ‘keep the nigger down.’”
The Democrat Supremacists would encourage a white woman to cry rape if she was found having a consensual relationship with a black man as an excuse to lynch him and destroy the economic empowerment he had established.
Ida B. Wells was the woman who led the voyage for blacks to leave Memphis in droves (4,000) to flee to Oklahoma to avoid hateful and discriminatory laws. They followed her lead to build in the West. She was the “anti-lynching” abolitionist and her reputation was bad for business to Democrat Supremacists who wanted business as usual. Her newspaper editorial business in Memphis was even ransacked by a mob of Democrat thugs because she dared to challenge the status quo. Her word of truth angered them. She wrote:
During the slave regime, the Southern white man owned the Negro body and soul. It was to his interest to dwarf the soul and preserve the body. The slave was rarely killed; he was too valuable; it was easier and quite as effective, for discipline or revenge, to sell him “Down South.” But Emancipation came and the vested interests of the white man in the Negro’s body were lost. But, with freedom, a new system of intimidation came into vogue; the Negro was not only whipped and scourged; he was killed.
Wells was a Republican who exposed, through her profound and bold writings, the hatred of Southern Democrat Supremacists and the KKK. What a powerful woman! She was a no nonsense sister! I love her grit.
She later married, becoming Ida B. Barnett and had four children before dying at the age of 69 from kidney failure. You do not hear how she fought Democrat Supremacy in American History in our education system. I wonder why…
