I’m confused. If leftists are absolutely sure about what they are doing in their attempt to take over Washington, DC, why do they need to lie? They have the “facts” on their side, don’t they? For over two years, Rep. Adam Schiff had “proof” that Russia and Donald Trump colluded to steal the election from Hillary Clinton. Then came the special counsel report and then … he didn’t?

Then there’s the Ukraine scandal where a whistleblower had “proof” that President Trump had asked the president of Ukraine to get dirt on his rival, Joe Biden. But then … he didn’t. Thankfully (for Schiff) the Trump administration released the damning transcript of the phone call. Schiff, a former federal prosecutor himself, presented the evidence of a quid pro quo. Except the words Schiff used were NOT the words from the transcript that had to be right there before him? Everyone watching, in the meeting and on TV, had to wonder what transcript he was reading from.

Not long after this, Speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked about it during an interview. The reporter asked why Schiff read something other than President Trump’s own words. Pelosi tried to convince him Schiff was reading Trump’s words! Seems like I remember someone talking about lying:

“He who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it much easier to do it a second and a third time, till at length it becomes habitual; he tells lies without attending to it, and truths without the world’s believing him.” That was Thomas Jefferson.

There are many matters for which leftists are crusading but cannot bring themselves to be truthful about. Climate change is a huge one. According to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, we only have 12 years before we are all going to die! But we’ve heard that song and dance before.

Remember the “hockey stick” controversy? In 2005, climatologists distorted over 150 years of data to get the results they wanted. If it’s real, there’s proof! Al Gore has lied for years about the disasters awaiting us because of global warming! President Barack Obama was definitely concerned about global warming, a threat to national security. I guess that’s why he bought a $15 million mansion on the waterfront at Martha’s Vineyard?

Remember Brett Kavanaugh and the “horrible things” he did to young women some 30-plus years ago. Apparently, the accusers didn’t either. No one backed her story. But, his accusers said, just because there was no proof didn’t mean he was innocent. He was eventually seated on the Supreme Court.

But the Left does not give up easy. In a stroke of brilliance, leftists decided to go after Justice Kavanaugh again! Another victim of sexual assault was found. There was only one problem — the victim said that it never happened and the other witnesses suddenly disappeared.

Remember, leftists say they believe in the Second Amendment and don’t want our guns. Then Beto O'Rourke let the cat out of the bag. Hell yes, he wants your guns!

Trump needs to be impeached because of his “crimes!” Rep. Al Green slipped up, admitting, “If we don’t impeach him, he will get reelected!”

Trust, but verify who you vote for. Character and integrity beat charisma and personality every time.
