‘The Only Way Trump Wins…’
Dems claim Trump can win only if he cheats, but voters have a chance to prove them wrong.
There’s no way President Donald Trump wins.
The only way Trump wins is if he cheats.
There will be violence if Trump wins.
There is no such thing as voter fraud.
All of the above statements have been made either literally or effectively by Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media. The last one, of course, contradicts the first two, but that matters not when there’s an election to win. The Left’s strategy is to convince millions of Americans that Joe Biden should and will win unless there’s cheating and, therefore, any violence after a Trump upset will be justified.
Here are Biden’s actual words: “They’re trying to do everything they can to suppress the vote, and they’re trying to do everything to convince people it’s an illegitimate vote, so they can play games. The president’s going to try to — I guess the best way to say it is, as someone suggests — steal this election. But the American people won’t be silenced.” (Well, unless they’re conservatives trying to say things on social media.)
Biden’s campaign manager, Jen O'Malley Dillon, declared, “Under no scenario will Donald Trump be declared a victor on election night.”
And then there’s Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, the (Democrat) man tasked with ensuring that the Keystone State’s election is conducted fairly and lawfully, pronouncing, “If all the votes are added up in PA, Trump is going to lose.” What’s wrong with just saying that all the votes will be counted and leaving it at that?
It’s true that Trump is rarely measured or careful with his words — who knew?! — but, in our humble estimation, his election rhetoric has been almost entirely trolling the Left or responding to unfounded accusations like Biden’s. Trump isn’t the one mailing ballots to all voters in a state, regardless of whether those ballots were requested or the intended recipient even lives in the state anymore. He may hint about not accepting the election results, but only because he knows Democrats are usually the ones cheating. And it is leftists, after all, not MAGA hat-wearing grassroots Americans, who are undermining election integrity and then planning violence if he wins, all while warning that Trump may be “trying to launch a coup.”
When you see reports about boarded-up store windows in cities around the country, remember who will perpetrate that violence and under which outcome. Then think about which candidate and party truly loves this country, and which one is bent on “fundamentally transforming” it by any means necessary.
By Monday evening, more than 98 million Americans had already voted. That’s 70% of the entire turnout in 2016, though in many states it was 90-something percent. Texas, Hawaii, and Montana all already exceeded their 2016 turnout with early and absentee/mail-in voting. It’s clear that voter participation will shatter records this year, which is remarkable given the pandemic.
Both sides are preparing their supporters for an election decided by lawyers and courts. We shall see, but the nation is on edge.
Thus, it seems appropriate to leave you with the calming and faithful words of Vice President Mike Pence:
Finally, this is just from me and from my family. … As I’ve traveled around this country the last four years, I’ve become convinced that this is a freedom-loving nation and this is a nation of faith. And, so, if you’re inclined like the Pences are to bow the head and bend the knee at your house from time to time, I’d encourage you to do that in the next day.
And when you pray, pray with confidence In these challenging times where it seems like there’s more that divides us than anytime in my lifetime. We ought to claim those ancient words that have seen Americans through much more challenging times than we could possibly imagine, the words of an ancient promise that say if His people who are called by His name will humble themselves and pray and turn, that He’ll do like He’s always done in the long and storied history of this great nation — he’ll hear from heaven and He’ll heal this land, this one nation, under God, indivisible, with Liberty and justice for all.
So, pray for America. Pray for all the American people. It will make a difference.
