“Elections have consequences,” said newly elected President Barack Obama in 2009. He was meeting with Republicans, and when the subject of working together came up, he made his intentions perfectly clear. “You lost. I won!”

Media folks always complain that Republicans need to “cross the aisle and meet Democrats halfway” when it comes to legislation. Squishy Republicans like John McCain and Mitt Romney were happy to do that. Unfortunately, meeting halfway meant compromising our values and beliefs and giving in to the Left’s agenda. For the record, I laud McCain for his courage during Vietnam when he was a POW. It was his politics that I did not agree with.

Now that the Left is in charge, we see clearly how “working together” and “crossing the aisle” were only required when Republicans were in charge. Joe Biden’s promise to be everyone’s president was only for optics; he didn’t really mean it. Those of us who were paying attention to what was happening knew this. If you’re surprised, you weren’t paying attention!

The far Left is going for broke, and Biden is certainly helping make it happen with executive orders flying out of the Oval Office. I hope you were listening to his words when he was talking about going after our guns. Whether you’re a Democrat or Republican, his comment that “not all rights in the Amendments are absolute” should send a chill down your spine.

If the rights spelled out in the Bill of Rights are not absolute, then nothing is. Again, if you have followed his actions since becoming king, I mean president, he fully intends to make America a one-party-controlled nation. He wants to change the rules so that Republicans never get elected again. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are giddy as to how well this plan seems to be moving along.

HR 1, the misnamed “For the People Act,” is legislation through which Democrats intend to take every bad policy and procedure that made the 2020 election a voting nightmare and turn them into law. With DC calling the shots, the Left will never lose an election.

Democrats want to do away with the Electoral College, which means five or six big blue states will always decide the presidential election. They want to do away with the filibuster so they can cram any pork-laden legislation through without any Republican votes, giving billions and billions of our tax dollars away. The cherry on top would be stacking the Supreme Court. Oh, and don’t forget giving statehood to DC (illegally) and Puerto Rico, which will leave the Left controlling everything.

If you’re a Democrat and you’re okay with this, remember: We tried to warn you when they start coming for you. The “useful idiots” that have helped dictators come to power never see it coming. Think it can’t happen here? That’s what every Socialist/Marxist country’s population thought … until it happened.

The Constitution was a masterpiece in establishing a form of government unlike any nation on the face of the earth — a “Republican” form of government established on Judeo/Christian principles. Today, there is no right or wrong, no good or evil. Every man is right in their own eyes! Once the “foundation” begins to crumble, the house (nation) will fall.
