C’mon, Man!

From COVID to immigration to infrastructure, Biden’s trying to pull a fast one on people.

WARNING: This post has not-so-veiled sarcasm and, hopefully, an attempt at humor. Leftists do not seem to understand humor, so read at your own risk.

Okay, I think it’s time we give Joe Biden a break. I mean, we’ve been pretty tough on the guy. He has it tough enough already. Think about it. Last week at his joint session of Congress, Biden said he had inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression! It has to be true because no one laughed in the chamber.

Remember, he started off behind the eight ball because President Donald Trump left him to start from scratch to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. He had to develop a vaccine, apparently at the White House working evenings, because — c'mon, man — look at how many millions of Americans have been vaccinated since he took office.

Then there’s the border problem President Trump left for him. I confess, for the life of me I can’t figure out why tens of thousands of people from Mexico and Central America suddenly stormed the border. But hey, c'mon, man, it was Trump’s fault … wasn’t it?

Thank God President Trump’s “cages” were removed so they could make more room for the newly opened luxury suites Biden had built. Joe had them ready just in time for thousands of unaccompanied minors who made it to the border. For the life of me, I can’t figure how those 10- and 15-year-old children safely traveled hundreds of miles to our border. They must grow ‘em tougher down there!

Then there’s the problem of where to put all those people being released at the border. Fortunately, Biden has a good friend from his campaign who apparently has hotels. For $500,000,000, they were able to find hotel rooms for these folks. Joe didn’t even have to mess with paperwork like getting bids from others. C'mon, man!

Thank God Joe Biden got the “COVID relief bill” passed. Okay, it wasn’t called COVID relief anymore. It was changed to the “American Rescue Plan.” Sure, it’s a little vague as to where the money’s going, but it was urgent to get this money out there. America had to be rescued from Trump for … for … anyway, the money had to get out, so there!

Now we need to pass “The American Jobs Plan.” This is for much-needed infrastructure like roads, bridges, highways, and such. Joe Biden said our airports are like third-world countries. I’m not as well-traveled as Joe, so I can’t speak to that. I mean, the times I fly in the U. S. the airports seem okay. But Biden would know. I’ll bet he’s comparing them to China. He likes China, so it must have cool airports!

Of course, “most” of the money doesn’t go to roads and bridges because, well, infrastructure is so much more than that: ObamaCare investments, childcare, family leave, Medicare services, Amtrak (who doesn’t love Amtrak, besides its passengers?).

Don’t forget the New Green Deal. Sure, America takes a bullet for the planet. Russia, China, and India can’t stop their energy development just yet. Give them 20 years, then they’ll do something to save the world! If America collapses, we deserve it because we’re racist, or something!

C'mon, man! Joe’s just getting started!

Something to think about?
