Ready, Shoot, Aim!

Everyone knows the balloon was from China. The other “objects” are a mystery to the Pentagon. Is this what $800 billion in military appropriations gives us?

A couple of weeks ago, America watched as a Chinese spy balloon floated across our country. I’m trying to remember all of the different versions, reasons, or excuses that were made as to why we let it traverse the entire country before shooting it down. “It may hurt people on the ground,” “it may be carrying explosives,” “it was no danger to us” and on and on the “reasons” (excuses) went.

We learned it was not randomly floating with the wind currents. This huge balloon was maneuvering and managed to float across some of our most sensitive military installations before finally being shot down near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. There were no explosions, no one on the ground was hurt, and no bioweapons (think COVID) were released. Navy divers are still in the process of hauling up the debris from what we’re told is 47 feet of water.

Then came a series of “objects” over Alaska, Canada, Montana, and Lake Huron that were promptly blown out of the sky. Apparently, the government determined there were no bioweapons, explosives, or nuclear devices, so they posed no danger to anyone. According to the Pentagon, they don’t know what they were, what they might have been carrying, or even how they operated or who sent them; we just blew them out of the sky.

Apparently, they were successful because the Pentagon tells us it cannot find any debris from these “objects.” Mission accomplished! No evidence (no body), no crime. Nothing to see here, folks; move along.

What changed? How did we go from having to let a Chinese spy balloon maneuver across the country and linger over our secret military facilities before bringing it down to blowing everything else out of the sky? Inquiring minds want to know.

On top of that, we have White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre telling us the “objects” were not extraterrestrial. Apparently, a number of the press corps were asking about aliens (not the illegal ones coming across the borders). That gives me some concern of who the networks and newspapers are sending to the White House to keep us informed. Obviously not the “best and brightest”!

As far as the balloon goes, everyone knows it was from China. The other “objects” are a mystery to the Pentagon. Is this what $800 billion in military appropriations gives us? But what did we expect from our nation’s enemies? After Afghanistan, all of our enemies knew the Biden administration would not respond. Biden told Putin that a small incursion into Ukraine wouldn’t be a big deal. Putin invaded and you see where we are now.

China is testing us to see if it’s a good time to make good on its threat to invade Taiwan. Joe is still trying to make a nuclear deal with Iran. What exactly does Biden want to get from Iran, the world’s biggest sponsor of terrorism? It’s the country that is currently killing its own citizens by the hundreds and imprisoning them by the tens of thousands.

What concerns me more than anything is how we’re fed a diet of bull crap from this administration and the media (but I repeat myself) and so many Americans don’t seem to be concerned. Or is that being kept from us too?

Something to pray about!
