What Can We Do?
Well, folks, they’re at it again. The misleaders of the Republican Party are making all sorts of noises that make it pretty clear that they are going to do what Obama-Soetoro and the moronic Marxist minions in the Democrat Party have been demanding, and raise our already ridiculously high taxes even higher. Speaking of high, it is highly unlikely that any balanced budget amendment that comes from our misleaders will bar raising taxes to accomplish it. And don’t look for it to have caps, either, much less limits, on spending. They’re about to sell us and our children and grandchildren down the river to live as slaves on the Progressive Tax Plantation.
Even with Congress adjourned, the money is flowing out of Washington as if we still actually had some. Millions upon millions are still being sent to foreign countries, many of whose governments are openly hostile to us. Millions upon millions are being doled out for projects like looking at drug use among Chinese prostitutes. The list of outrageous wastes of the money we had to borrow so we could give it away goes on and on, seemingly without end.
Speaking of outrageous wastes of our non-existent fiat money, it has come out that the Red Queen, Michelle Antoinette, has spent some $10,000,000 on the many, ostentatiously opulent, and extravagant “vacations” she and the fraud-who-would-be-king have taken. It seems, too, that Obama-Soetoro has used over $2,000,000 of public money to have not one, but two, custom “buses” built to run around on his campaign trips. And the arrogant, hypocritical !@#%&*! had the cursed things built in Canada! So much for his “laser focus” on American jobs.
What all this means is that the spineless parasites in Congress have no intention of cutting back on spending. Ever. By the de-election in 2012, the country may well be gone, reduced to Third World status. So what can we do?
Tactically, civil disobedience, tax resistance, and a good, nationwide general strike are all well worth pursuing. However, they are merely tactics to gain some short-term advantage. What is needed is a long-term strategy to take back our government and enforce the Constitution and the rule of law. For this, we need to look to the States.
With only a half dozen senators and maybe 30 congressmen who actually support the Constitution, we need to shift our focus to state governments. Using the Tenth Amendment, we need to get them to, as many states like Oklahoma, Arizona (http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/) and others already have done, stand up and say NO! They need to refuse to obey the myriad unconstitutional laws shoved down their throats in the past, and especially in the last few years. They need to kick unconstitutional, rogue agencies like the EPA out of their states. They need to tell the federal government to take their economy-killing regulations and strings-attached money and shove it, and learn to live a leaner, cleaner, and freer life.
State governments need to ignore the current misleaders, in both parties, and work with federal legislators who actually have ideas that serve the American people, rather than their own, or their special interest money sources, selfish interests. Ted Poe, for example, a genuine Texas conservative, representing the 2nd Congressional District (http://poe.house.gov/) has some great ideas, and regularly presents them as bills on the floor:
I am committed to finding ways that the federal government can cut wasteful spending and am open to your suggestions as well. The federal government currently owns 27% (623 million acres) of the total land in the United States. Last week, I introduced the American Land Act, which would require the Administration to open up nearly ¼ of the land currently owned by the federal government for sale to the American people. This would not include land owned by the National Park Service or the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Allowing Americans to purchase this land would have the potential to generate up to $200 billion or more to pay off the federal budget deficit. Unfortunately, with the Ministry of Propaganda obstructing the flow of news, most folks never hear about it. We, the People, can change that.
So, instead of calling, emailing, and faxing your elitist, Big Government, spending-addicted federal delegation, communicate with your state legislators and your governor. Push them to get involved in nullification. Encourage them to support federal legislation that returns power to the states, where it was intended by the Founders to be. And let them know that you will do whatever is necessary to help them git ‘er done!
