Once again, I am frustrated by the fact that our federal government is out of control and is hell-bent on destroying our Constitutional, capitalistic form of government, and the fact that the American people are allowing it to happen is most disheartening. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what is and has been going on for many, many years.

Ever since the progressive movement started in America back in the 1920s, the nation has been on a railway to destruction. Unfortunately, and especially during the last six years, the train that is on that railway has been on a very fast and steep track as if coming straight down the side of a mountain. With Obama at the throttle, it has become a runaway train and all hell is about to break loose as it gathers momentum and heads straight toward the swamp of Socialism.

But why haven’t the American people been able to recognize it and do something about it? The train should have been commandeered by freedom-loving Americans and diverted around the mountain and away from the swamp of Socialism many years ago. For eight years, President Ronald Reagan did his best to put the train on a secondary and alternate route that wound its way around the mountain that the progressives so much wanted to conquer. Unfortunately, it turns out that his right hand man during those eight years, Vice President George H.W. Bush, who knew that Reagan’s time at the controls could last no longer than eight years, was devising a plan that would put the train back on the mainline shorter route over the top of the mountain. As I recall, it was when President George H. W. Bush took over the controls and, after some time in office, that he started talking about a “New World Order.” In retrospect, it was clear that he was pursuing a Socialist agenda. It was at that time that the train crested the summit of the mountain and started down the straight, steep track to the swamp.

My belief is that we as a nation were so satisfied with the direction President Reagan had taken us that we gave absolutely no thought to the possibility of George H.W. Bush being a Socialist. How could that possibly be? He was a Republican and had been mentored by one of the greatest presidents in the history of the United States. We were a nation of Constitution-loving people. We were well on our way to becoming a nation of Americans, not hyphenated Americans. Our wounds were healing. As a result, George H.W. Bush’s talk about a New World Order didn’t really sound so ominous to most of us. Too many of us, myself included, failed to make the connection and look at the total picture. I must admit, I was short-sighted.

During the Bill Clinton era, the scales began to rapidly fall from my eyes and it was easy to see what was happening. Sadly, I think I was one of only a few who began to see the light. Until that time, seeing the United States of America as one day being a Socialist nation just wasn’t a possibility. I was born and raised during a time when the words Socialism and Communism were fighting words. In my mind, there were no real Americans who would ever even consider such a thing as a Socialist/Communist form of government in America. I believed that was the sort of thing Americans had been fighting against throughout the nation’s history. I even volunteered to serve in Vietnam, because I thought it was the right thing to do. I was willing to put my life on the line to stop the growth of Communism at any location in the world because I knew Americans did not ever want to see it in the USA. And now I find myself preparing to fight them in my own backyard.

Today, it is clearly evident what has been happening. The radicals of the 1960s are still fighting freedom-loving Americans right here in the homeland and their ranks are swelling. It is astonishing to me that there are actually a large number of Americans who are supportive of either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders in their respective campaigns for the Presidency. It’s just mind-boggling. Those two are not the real Americans that I was raised to support for any public office. I say, shame on the Democrat Party for endorsing and promoting such un-Americans as Clinton and Sanders, who shamelessly acknowledges being a Socialist. As far as I’m concerned, Hillary is probably better defined as a Communist. And shame on anyone out there who is rallying behind either one of them. Sadly, far too many of those people are people I would like to consider as friends and Constitutional Americans. Some are probably even relatives. They just haven’t taken the time to do some simple research and analysis.

If there is anyone out there who might be reading this and wondering what the heck I’m talking about, let me give you a clue. The radicals that I despised while serving in Vietnam have taken over. For years they have been crawling on their bellies like snakes in the grass and now they feel so empowered that they are rising up like deadly cobras and are preparing to strike. Because they know what a dumb-downed electorate there is out there, they believe they have already won the fight. The real Americans have got to become mongooses and kill the cobras before they advance any further.

If you have any doubts about what I’m saying, do yourself a favor and do some research on your own. Most, if not all of the subversive Marxist-Leninist groups in the world, and particularly within the United States, are easily identified by a quick Google search. Read about them and see what their goals and aspirations are, and be particularly mindful of their stated association with the Democrat Party. For example, look at the following organizations:

Now, if you are wondering what prompted me to write this commentary, it was the fact that Obama rejected the Keystone Pipeline. He claims it was because of economic concerns and the fact that they have bigger fish to fry, so to speak. That is not the truth, my friends. He did it because it was in conflict with his battle against “climate change,” which is one of the issues all of the aforementioned Socialist/Communist organizations are pushing. Man-made “Climate Change” — the hoax that the progressives just won’t let die away even though the majority of scientists who once believed there might have been something to it have publicly stated their change of mind. The Keystone Pipeline would have been, and one day will be, a very important step in America’s economic recovery. Nothing that Obama and his administration does, or has done, has been done in the best interest of the nation. It’s all about politics and the progressive push to Socialism, which is a stepping stone to Communism.
